Bought this helmet to replace a Nolan modular I have been wearing for 14 years. The padding just wore out on the Nolan so I bit the bullet and spent way more than I ever have on a helmet, and glad that I did. At six hundred beans this helmet ain't cheap, but since the regular price was eight beans, I think it's a deal. The release of the Neo III made everyone put the Neo II on sale. The padding is excellent, the chin strap ratchet is similar to the Nolan so I am comfortable with that feature. The drop down sunglass visor actually has a lever that can be reached and used while riding, as does the front vent. This helmet is WAY more quiet than my Nolan. Some reviewers say the weight of this helmet is more than they prefer, but I don't even notice it. The build quality and finish on the Shoei is simply superb. My hat size is 7-3/8 and the size large fits perfectly, just like their sizing chart suggests it would.

Bought it in July of 24 right after the 3 came out. Huge discount. Fantastic helmet. Immediately took it on a week-long riding trip.Is it perfect? No. Is it a great helmet though? Yes. Seems to be a tiny bit smaller than mediums from other brands, but still comfortable enough for all day riding for many days in a row. I'd buy it again, no questions asked.

Yeah Man, pretty good helmet. My first Shoei. I usually opt for the loud, $150 jobs. Been riding bikes, since I was 14, and I'm 60 now. Sure wish I took the cob webs off my wallet a long time ago. This helmet, fits great. It's super light and pretty darn quiet. I quickly found out, anything past 35 mph, makes a whistling sound with the shield up. Haven't tried with the modular part up, yet. Probably never will. Anyway, I love this helmet. Plus, it was $100 cheaper through Amazon, than anywhere else I could find. That's always good. Happy riding and Stay Safe!

I’ve just got back into motorcycle touring after about two decades off. I’ve had to balance saving money with spending money on the right things. I started with a $150 Bilt modular that was ok but is that really where you want to skimp? No it’s not and once I put this helmet on and rode with it, I knew I made the right choice. I ride in the PNW so fogging has been an issue but not with this helmet, the vents work extremely well. The fit is good but a bit snug around my face but the more I wear it the more it conforms with the shape of my head. This is a solid helmet and I recommend it.

I have now owned three Shoei helmets. Having ridden motorcycles for more than 50 years, it’s the only helmet for me. Comfort, design, fitment, and durability all characterize Shoei products. Well worth the money!

Nice! Love the silver color. Fits really well unlike high end Bilt modular.Two complaints:Low air flow through the helmet so not a good warm weather helmet.Lip on visor is difficult to find to raise it.

Perfect fit, so comfortable. Comes with the anti-fog insert.Worth the money to invest in your comfort and safety. Amazon just dropped off the OG box though without even taping it closed. A little sketchy, but I’m happy with the helmet.

I purchased this helmet after looking at several different ones. First off, I ordered it on Saturday and received it on Monday. I put it to use on Wednesday as I began a 3000-mile journey. The helmet functioned perfectly over the next 5 days. I had no problems with fog and there was plenty of airflow in the helmet when the vents were opened up. I rode for several hours in the rain and still had no issues with my helmet. I'm very pleased with my purchase.
