Smart Living Steam Mop Plus,White and Green

I love this product. The only thing I can't comment on now is "how long will the machine remain working" I've only had it a week but it is such a marvelous item that I couldn't wait to say something. This mop is every well designed. The parts move smoothly and offer great ease of use. It's very light weight and glides smoothly across surfaces [I've mopped all may linoleum floors and two carpeted rooms]. This may not be important to some of you, but I will be 70 in two years with a long history of chronic back pain. Finding any product that I can use with ease is a big plus and enhances the quality of my of life. Compared to other floor cleaning machines I've owned, this mop is by far the best.Specifically, the power cord is not the longest I've seen, but it is more than adequate. The machine cleans well. The design for the parts that bend/create an elbow for cleaning under furniture is easy to use and the joint is very sturdy. Little things like creating a method for storing the cord and also keeping the cord out of the way when in use make the mopping experience more rewording. As I said, it's actually fun to use and even better when you see the results, clean floors and carpets. The swivel joint that holds the mop allows me to clean places I've never been able to steam clean before. It's a dynamite little machine for the price and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good floor cleaning solution.

Haven't even had this for a year yet and it won't turn on. I only use it to mop my bathrooms about once a week so very disappointed. Tried reaching out a out warranty, no response. I bought one of these years ago at an event, it lasted me 6 years. Something changed and it just didn't last.

This is our second one. The first one went bad after using it for 5 years. It always worked very good. A great cleaner and steamer. The new version is even better.

When I was injured this last year a friend kept bringing her steam mop over to clean my floors. I had bought one about four years prior but returned it as it left my floors soaking wet since the scrubbing motion is what pumped water out.This mop is amazing. I can scrub at whatever sticky toddler mess is on my floors and they don't get soaked. It heats up very fast and hasn't over heated on me yet. I use 3 of the cleaning pads for about 1000 sq feet of hardwoods. the mop glides easily and the head rotates to fit between tight places like the toilet and the wall.It actually makes cleaning fun again! I tried my carpets once but didn't notice any difference though I want to give it another try before I pass judgement on that aspect.

I cannot recommend this product. I would give 0 stars if I could.The company was completely unresponsive to my attempts in contacting them about the mop failing after 3 uses.However, Amazon is picking up the product and refunding my purchase even though it was past the return date. Go Amazon!I absolutely loved how this mop worked when I received it 8 weeks ago but during the 3rd use it just stopped steaming. Blue light is flashing. I have trouble shooted to no avail.I have contacted the company yesterday (Easter Sunday) both thru the contract tab on the website and email.I am hoping that this was just a lemon. It happens.If they are a good company they will respond in a timely fashion.I will update my comments, with the resolution or if they do not.Update: I have made several attempts to contact the company; thru amazon, direct email and the chat feature on their website. I have not received a response. Unbelievable and very disappointing.Ended up buying the Shark and like it better anyway.

We bought it as a home show and it was my wife who wanted to see it demonstrated and then said we should get one. Well, she generously gave me the responsibility for doing the floors in the kitchen and bathrooms. They turn out great. We used it in our vacation condo and just ordered one to keep there...tired of lugging it back and forth! The product is well made, creates a lot of steam, does not leave floors soaking wet, The ball joint is a big help in getting under and around things. By the way, seep a floor before steaming. The mop does not pick up loose dirt. I don't see this as a problem, but just a word to the wise.That said, the pads are another story. They look great when new, but soon become flimsy and thin, after being washed. A pack of 3 replacement pads is an astonishing $24.95, which might be tolerable but after they wear think, they don't work as well.

Drip but no heat. Bummer.

So I finally got out my new Smart Living Steam Mop Plus for a spin on the floor. My first impression is that I must be to tall for this work of art. Seemed really short. Got to love the instructions on how to put it together. Can't be too hard. Fits one way or the other. Best to have a bottle of your favorite glue ready as this thing is made on the cheap. Once the glue dried and the handle is in place, away I go. Wow, I can smell the steam, looking good. Doesn't clean the grout though. Wait the handle just bent and now it will not stay straight. So I am even closer to the ground. Is this thing made for my 80 lb grandmother? Let me put it this way. This is a piece of crap. Won't last 2 months. It's already been glued together out of the box. You get what you pay for.
