Overall a good power up device.
Out of the Box:This unit came about 85% charged from Amazon. It came with a belt clasp/key ring and a standard micro USB charger cable.Features: Well as the product description says it has a solar panel on the top, a charging port on the bottom right side of the unit, a rubber button that doubles as a power indicator and flashlight on/off switch. And two USB device charging ports. Left one is a 5V - 1A, and the right one is a 5V - 2.1A.Construction. The unit is very well constructed and seems to be seemless. While I haven't tried it myself, I would assume this could take a drop from several feet and continue to function as advertised. The solar panel is nice to have so that you can get a nice trickle charge whenever. But don't expect this to be your primary source of charging this unit in a pinch. It will take a good 16+ hours of 100% sunlight to get a 95%+ charge on this unit. The only way to speed this process up is to hook up a separate solar charging unit up to it, but then what is the point? I let this unit charge in the sun for 2 days, and currently we are having 100+ degree days, and when I touched the unit it was really hot. I was worried about the performance, but the heat didn't seem to effect it. Though over a long stretch of time, I'm sure it will. The one thing I wished the unit had was an indicator that it was charging.Water resistant. I can't stress this enough, Water resistant and water proof are to different things. This unit is water resistant. That said, splashes ofwater did get on this unit while charging it works like a champ.Rubber button for power checking and flash light. one quick press for power checking, and the four blue LED's will come on depending on your current power level. Easy. The flash light is a 1 LED bulb that in total black conditions is a good source of walking around your house light, but if you think you are going to navigate a forest at night with it, not going to happen. Light range on this is maybe 6 feet. The USB device charging ports. I have tried charging a Galaxy S Pro and an iphone 6+ at the same time, both charged without issue. The USB ports on the unit face down. While not a huge issue, I never understand why manufacturers do this. If you have an industry standard plug device, then make your device that the cable face is face up. Seems simple. A side note when charging your devices. the power indicator LED's on the unit stay on while you are charging. I find this very useful.LED power indicators. This is the one part of the unit that doesn't make sense. The manual explains how the read the power levels of the unit. Seems simple, and when you hold the unit the top would be where their logo is and that you can read it. Seems simple. But for some odd reason the LED's are in the unit backwards. Everything points to the power indicators draining from right to left, even that is how the manual explains it. But they actually drain from left to right. They put them in unit upside down. Not sure if it is only my unit that is like this or every unit. Just dumb.Pros: Large capacity battery Many device charges when you are on the go Compact design Good Construction, built to take it Simultaneous device charging Solar panel charging Additional features (Flashlight) - Flashlight feature will work even after the unit fails to charge any devices (Big Plus)Cons: Heavy (but to be expected for a large capacity battery) Flashlight not very useful except for close up use. Upside down power indicator LED'sStar Rating: Only had the unit a week, so until I put it through its paces, going to hold off on the 5 star for now.Overall - Price vs mAh plus phone/tablet/other device charges with simultaneous device charging this unit is a slam dunk.Recommendation - Damn Good Buy.*** UPDATE ***I was directly impacted by the Tornado's that hit Rowlett, TX the day after Christmas 2015. I fortunately had just charged this unit the day before, and our power was out for 5 days. This unit kept my iphone 6 plus, my wife's iphone 5s and our Galaxy 4 Tab S going the whole time. When a true emergency happened, this Unit came through with flying colors!*** Customer Service Update ***During a normal charge cycle, I noticed that all the LED's were off, which I assumed meant that it was 100% charged. However when I went to activate it, the unit would not respond. No amount of button pressing or phone charging attempts would get the unit to work. Sent Zerolemon an email on the situation since it fell within the 365 day warranty. I initially was disappointed to get an automated message back to contact Amazon to resolve the problem (which I did, and Amazon came through again with flying colors), but the next day I was contacted by Zerolemon's tech support department trying to help me resolve the problem. Once all things were tried they offered to replace the unit for me, but being an honest person I reminded them of the replacement that was currently in process with Amazon. So, I'm going to bump my rating of this product up to 5 Stars because the good Customer Service of a company far out ways the Cons I listed for the product that drove down my initial rate of 4 Stars.

One Tough, Rugged Charger w/ Great Battery Life
The first thing that you'll notice about this external charger is that it is really heavy...in a good way. The case just feels solid and well built, so this would be something you could strap to the outside of your backpack and head out to take on the wilderness. In fact, I intentionally dropped mine a few times (while charging my Android phone) just to see if it could take it....and the device didn't skip a beat.Additionally, the device is supposed to be water-resistant....which is always a claim that makes me nervous. It does have a thick rubber all the way around it though to absorb drops, keep dust out and fight off water, so I went ahead and stuck it under the sink faucet for a few seconds as a test. It seemed to do fine. My only concern is that this device would be vulnerable where you plug in the charging wires....it does have thick rubber you have to pull in-out to access the charge area, but if it didn't get pushed in well then you'll likely fry the device. So I'd call it "almost waterproof", although I wouldn't submerge it on purpose. In terms of charging capabilities, I gathered up all the smartphones and tablets in my home to charge off this beauty. It was nice that it ships fully charged, and I was able to power two devices simultaneously that were under 5% battery life to start. After 10 minutes of use (I looked at Facebook, my daughter played a game), my phone showed at 22% and my daughter's was at 9%....which is a lot better than you'd do on the standard house charger. I was also able to fully charge 5 devices to full power in about 3 1/2 hours total, and the ZeroLemon still had one light visible (meaning less than 25% total power remaining). So for a single user, you should be able to get 5-6 full charges out of this device if you're travelling or or in the wilderness.Main Pros-- Holds plenty of juice- Tough as nails- Charges quickly- Water/dust resistant, does well with drops/bumpsMain Cons-- The enclosed charge cord is only 5-6 inches long.- You'll need a 2nd cord to charge multiple devices (so buy two...cause the 1st is too short)- Placing a belt hook on it is awkward due to the thickness/angle of the loop on top- It's heavy for its size (which is really it's main "Pro", but I'm trying to be objective)Overall, this is one kick-butt little device. I hooked it to my belt the other day and rode my bike for a few miles across rugged terrain, and it flopped around like a rag doll just beating away at my thigh and the side of the seat. Eventually I moved it because my leg started hurting from the repeated abuse, but it was as good of a test as I could think of to see if this charger would hold up to the daily abuse of the rugged outdoors. It passed with flying colors though so it earns my stamp of approval. It charges fast, takes a beating and has awesome battery life....so there is very little not to like.I can't even complain about the neon green color; I hated it at first, but then I set it down somewhere and couldn't find it. Then there it was, glowing like Christmas on the other side of my garage...and right there I appreciated that it wasn't dark blue or some other manly color I would normally prefer. So if you're into outdoor activities and your phone often needs a boost, buy this charger. It's a steal at the price.Five year update- About a year ago, we lost power and I was very glad I had this in my closet all charged up and ready to go....but it was dead. Darn, I had charged it full a few months earlier, but no big deal. Then we got hit with a hurricane last month and I repeated the same process....but the unit was dead again. I fully charge it after every use and it looks like it will no longer hold a charge for more than a few days.Of course, this is a 5-YEAR update....who expects tech items to last 5 years?!? I can't believe my kids haven't lost this by now anyway. But it's definitely past it's prime and no longer useful except for planned day-trips and stuff like that.

Performs as expected, charges my Samsung Galaxy s3 & S6 Edge even in dark conditions without apparent drainage of the battery. I'll update this review after being off the stable power grid for more than 3 days. Works Like a charm. Also accidentally leaving the flashlight on doesn't drain the battery indicated in any of the four status leds. As for the review below, the retail price is $99 so it is reasonably priced for a li-ion battery. But pricing is not a product evaluation. I needed it vast land it performed, ensuring I can take two devices on my next trip. Also I can now walk foreign cities or drive cabs using GPS and not wory about power issues. I can fly without worrying about battery lifespan or not waking up in time. It makers my smartphone (especially the S6 edge) so much more useful. That I really cherish it, these past few days with the volcanic eruptions delaying my flights. For a five star rating I can imagine a uv-led or green laser pointer or even faster charging times.

Really impressed with it. Its a bit pricey, as Americans can get it way cheaper. I have only used it the once while camping and it certainly did the trick. It was almost fully charged when i got it, so i topped it up by leaving it hanging out the window (it comes with a handy clip). I've vowed to never charge it from the mains..so i hope it stays sunny for a while! It does seems tough and i wouldn't be afraid of getting it wet. It looks like it could definitely withstand some rain. Its reassuringly heavy, as you would expect from a battery that size, so its not something you can carry around in your pocket really. The fact that you can get about 7 charges of a typical phone though is excellent.

I bought this battery to spend 3 weeks camping with little chance of recharging my smartphone. It survived extreme humidity, heat, a bit of rain and a few unplanned impacts. The solar charging is residual... at 200mA you'd need 100+ hours of direct sunlight to recharge this battery, but at 20000mAh capacity you get to charge your smartphone quite a few times.
