Nice accent lights on my boat

I don’t like it at all its no way to conect the lights you need to buy separate things to light up e those in cam whit the plug

I purchased this blue LED strip to use as a light for the live well in my boat because the vendor stated in the item's main header that it is waterproof. Waterproof is exactly what is needed for continuous submersion in a live well, even if only 3" below the water surface. I checked the LEDs before installing and they lit up a beautiful blue with all diodes lighting. While installing in the live well, I found that the adhesive came off the strip as soon as it became wet. It was useless. I had to use a dab of marine sealant (4200) to hold the strip in place. After filling the live well, it became apparent that this strip was NOT waterproof as claimed. Three of the LED sections immediately failed.I have since cut another section from the five meter strip and sealed it in clear heat shrink with 4200 sealant in the ends. This fabricated light is now waterproof and should perform as I had expected of the product on its own.Of note: There were multiple splices in the strip, evident where solder joints were made to join shorter sections together to make a full advertised length. I did not observe any issues with these joints.
