I ordered these boots in the Almond - be advised they are not leather. They fit fine, were really comfortable. the label on the inside says leather, however, if you have owned any shoes that were actually leather, you will realize these are not. Additionally, when I took these out of the box, they had marks in the surface of the boot - like variations in the color of the dye. I returned them. Also, be aware as you are looking at different variations of these boots, they are sold by different parties. Some third party sellers, as the one I ordered from, will either charge you a restocking fee, or they will recoup shipping at your cost. Be very careful before you order, and realize you may be paying no matter what, even if the boots have a defect coming out of the box.

Back these boots go. I bought a pair of Earth Laurel boots and the fit was just about perfect, so I took a chance on these - nope, FAR too tight in the instep. Given the loose fit at the heel, going up from the 10 to an 11 (there is no 10.5) wouldn't work either. Not overly fond of the scuffed toe on the brown suede, either, it looks more dirty than scuffed.Fast shipping, easy returns, gotta love Amazon.

I bought these to replace an old, cheap pair in this style. They were my shoe of choice for a 3 week stay in Rome. I walked all over the city, through parks, on cobblestones, and asphalt. There isn't much arch support - no bother for me - but they are well cushioned.I wear a size 8-8.5 and I chose the 8.5. I could probably wear either, as they loosened up a bit with wear. These leave room for cushier socks in cold weather or if I want to add extra cushioning/support with an insole later.The leather is good quality, and the soles did well on wet surfaces. The only design issue - not even a flaw really - is that the lower buckle flap slips down rather than staying tucked. An aesthetic issue, not functional.The only other small issue was that the leather insoles turned a pair of white socks brown on the bottom! But I usually wear black socks so it doesn't really matter.I would definitely consider buying another pair of shoes from Earth.

I have numerous boots by Earth Origins and it is so great to have consistency in products. I bought these boots because I wanted something to wear when my tall boots would be too warm and when I just don't want to wear shoes or sneakers. I don't wear anything I can't run for a bus or train in and these are SO COMFORTABLE (as all Earth products are). I even wore these in rain yesterday and they held up. The zipper allows for easy access in case you need to fix your socks inside and the height is perfect to wear over skinny jeans or leggings. They come about 4 inches above my ankle and have a loose fit at the top. I also bought the black suede which are equally as comfortable and came with a label that they are Scotchguarded which is a nice touch!

I ususally don't take the time to write a review... however, these boots are so amazing! Not only are they the most comfortable boot ive ever owned, but the most comfortable shoe as well! They fit perfectly for a wide foot in the regular width. There is plenty of room around the calf. The craftsmanship of the insoles are amazing! Plenty of support for the heal and the arch. If i weren't poor, id buy this boot in every color made!

This boot is really good quality, I love the style, but it is very very narrow, and I was disappointed in the shoe inserts, they were very flimsy, nothing like the ones in any of the Earth shoes I have been buying, that have good arch support also, these were thin and flimsy, and actually there was a right foot insole in the left boot!!!! I could have used different insoles if I could have gotten my foot into the boot, but it was way to narrow. A good boot for someone that has very narrow feet.

Very nice quality suede, and the real deal looks just like - if not better than the picture. The soles are high-quality rubber material - not like the slick plastic-y soles on many other boots I have seen. Even the insides are made of some kind of material that is kind of velvety-smooth. They also have arch supports...Normally I use an OTC pair of orthotics in my boots, but I don't need them with these. The straps adjust, but are synthetic and mostly decorative. I would expect leather, so that is the only reason I am not giving these a 5 star rating (in this price range). I don't normally spend this much on my shoes, but maybe I should... these are a good example of you get what you pay for, and are worth every penny!

This Co. Earth Shoes and Boots..REALLY CARE about the comfort of their customers. I love these boots to pieces and wish that all boots in the world were as comfortable as these. I Bought the "Grey" ones which when arrived were just a medium to light gray (no variation) vinyl synthetic looking leather. Within 15 mins. I changed the whole look to a rich charcoal grey with variation using some coloring shoe polish - the color I wanted in the first place. Now I'm REALLY HAPPY!!! Can't wait to wear these soon!!
