Conair Hair Dryer, Worldwide Travel Hair Dryer with Smart Voltage Technology and Folding Handle, Includes Concentrator

After destroying my blow dryer on an international vacation last year, I was looking for a travel blow dryer. This Conair one is exactly what I was looking for. It is lightweight and will store easily in my carry on for my next international vacation. I love that it is able to sense the appropriate voltage, so no more fried blow dryers for me. I used it shortly after I received it and it works great. For a travel blow dryer it has lots of power and easily dried my hair. I was anticipating spending way more for the blow dryer, so happy with the great price. It’s a true value for my money. Highly recommended.

I love this hair dryer! It’s the perfect size and the quality is super nice for a travel hair dryer. It wasn’t super loud and I’ve used it in both the US and a couple of countries in Europe. I also really appreciated having the attachments since I use both at home in my everyday life so having a travel hairdryer that I could use these attachments on was super nice! Highly recommend this for the value for money, versatility, and overall functionality that make it the perfect travel-size hair dryer :)

Great travel hair dryer! It dries really well. Bought this for my trip to Italy so the dual voltage is a plus! I would definitely recommend this hair dryer as it has alot of power.

I purchased this blow dryer for a trip to Amsterdam, Scotland and Iceland. I have very thick, long, naturally wavy hair that I blow out straight. At home, I use a Dyson hair dryer, but they aren’t dual-voltage and I couldn’t justify the expense of a second one just for travel. In the past, I’ve tried using hotel dryers with no luck. They’re not powerful enough and my hair takes an insane amount of time to dry. I purchased this one because I needed something with some oomph that could handle my thick hair and not create too much frizz. Surprisingly, it actually works pretty well. I like that it folds up for travel, though it is a bit larger than I was expecting. I also like that it comes with a concentrator attachment, which helps greatly with frizz. It has a lot of power and good range of temperatures. I also like that it auto-adjusts voltage. (I previously had an older travel dryer that required manual adjustment for voltage and it never seemed to handle the high European voltage well, and started smoking during use on multiple occasions).The one MAJOR flaw in this dryer is the cord length. My experience traveling in Europe is that there are usually not outlets in the bathroom, and I typically have to find other places to dry my hair. The outlets are typically lower/closer to the floor (as opposed to counter height). I’m 5’8” and if I plug the dryer into a floor-level outlet the cord is barely long enough to hold the dryer above my head. I find myself having to stoop or find a chair to sit on so I have enough cord length to actually move the dryer around my head. Without this issue, I’d give the dryer 5 stars.

Excellent product. Very easy to use overseas because you don’t need to randomly find a coin in your hotel room to turn the voltage knob, it is automatic! I used it in Spain. All you need is a plug adapter. The plug adapters in Spain and England are different for example, so make sure you bring the correct one. It was easy to pack. The diffuser was outstanding for curly hair. Here is the best part, this dryer is better than any dryer I’ve ever used and it could easily be your permanent dryer and not just one you stick in the suitcase for travel.

Light weight and lower noise than any dryer I've had- the pitch is lower too, so more comfortable to the ears. Dries well and feels comfortable when styling. One other review mentioned poor placement of control buttons, but I didn't have any trouble with them. The buttons are sturdy in place and I don't recall my fingers even touching them while drying my hair. I love that it has 3 heat settings plus a cold shot. The only glitch is that, as others mention, the cord is a little short-5ft. Not a problem at home, but I suppose it could potentially be with travel. Given that I really like all the other features of this dryer, I'm fine if I have to dry my hair without a mirror due to the shorter cord. If I have any problems with it in Europe, I'll update my review, otherwise, assume it works as well in Europe.Update: I used this in Europe for 3 wks and it worked great. The automatic transition to the different voltage in Europe was seamless. Of course, you have to use the appropriate adapter for where you are in Europe or other places. This is a great travel dryer, and I like it so much that I’ve shelved my home dryer and am using this exclusively.

Does not work in Portugal like it said. It wouldn’t work passed cool air. I even tried using an adaptor with a converter even though the product listing says it converts on its on for different voltages. I can’t even return it bc I through the box away when I packed it.
