Set gets the job done .....
Haven't ran into a vehicle yet that these tools won't work on and I do oil changes on lots of different vehicles great set to have at reasonable price I can't complain good value for money and don't think I'll ever have to buy another oil filter wrench

Absolute crap. Cups are stamped from poor quality steel and will not hold or grip the filters Inserts that the ratchet goes into are too shallow and will snap off with moderate use.Do not buy

The lid has sliding locks for the cups.
I like everything about the box and cups. Very helpful and easy to use.

Must have for do it yourselfers
I got these for my husband for Christmas. He has only used 2 of them so far. It fit our Toyota tacoma and our 92 Cadillac. He said good steel not flimsy aluminum. He is very pleased.

Very flimsy
These are very cheaply made, thin, pressed metal. They are either tight enough that the need to be hammered onto the filter, or so loose that they flex and turn on the filter without loosening it. They don't stay in the case well at all, several fall out as soon as the case is opened. They are inexpensive and you can certainly make them work for most applications. I get frustrated with them every time I try to use them and therefore they must go.

Whoever is reading this, just don't buy it. Go to your local auto store to get some better made ones. These ones will just make your job harder. I'm a licensed mechanic and I used my co worker's before. His tool helps me do the job, this tool is more like a test to see if I can get the job done with this crap
