Italian Verb Drills, Fourth Edition

I teach Italian and this book is amazing. Still might need an additional one to explain better some complex concepts but highly recommend it

My Italian teacher recommended this, and I’ve found it really helpful. It’s got all the tenses, and you can skip around to practice whatever you need help with. Plus, answers are in the back, so you can check your work.

I like this workbook. I am the type of learner that benefits from writing things down and this book fits the bill. It also has an answer key in the back of the book to check your progress. I believe additional modes of learning are better so I also supplement with a language learning app.

Like the layout but only on page 27 and quite a few errors and put wrong meaning of verbs ect

This book is fabulous it’s just what I’ve been looking for I’ve been studying Italian and the grammar is overwhelming this book is extremely well done and everyone learning Italian should have it to practice the verbs

I haven't spoken Italian for many years and this book has been a great help in restoring my knowledge of conjugations of the verbs and how each is used.

This book is so helpful. The exercises are challenging but also don't require a ton of explanation!

I feel very torn regarding this book. On the one hand, it is a well organised book in terms of basics and it mostly provides verbs which you will use frequently and a decent overview of the grammar you will need.On the other hand, it has a number of mistakes which make you worry about its overall trustworthiness. It has mistakes in the corrections at the back (which aren't that bad, mostly wrong spelling and occasionally the wrong verb) and also mistakes in the actual segment you are supposed to teach yourself from (which is disturbing).I would understand a typo here and there, but verbs are sometimes in the wrong categories, occasionally mistranslated...As I said though, it is structured ideally so IF your knowledge of Italian is decent and you only need a refresher and IF you also have and are willing to use an independent source and a pencil to check and correct all the lessons, go for it.It's a pity really, because otherwise this could easily have been one of the best books on Italian verbs.

Excellent book. Well thought out and the online stuff is a useful addition.

Very good to not only introduce the verbs but takes the learner right through to conjugation a step at a time. I am very please with this book and I see that the same writer does a grammar drills; I will be getting it.

I am working my way through and he book and learning how to conjugate new verbs with ease.

Great for learning and jogging the memory
