Tokyo Milk Poe's Tobacco Eau De Parfum for Woman, 1oz Spray

My wife was fortunate enough to find this scent in the Hotel Connor gift shop in Jerome, AZ (a quaint former mining town turned ghost town turned artist haven). When it was time to refill, the deal on Amazon was the best available. She was looking for a signature scent and doesn't like flowery perfumes. This parfum is wonderful: heady, smoky, nostalgic, just slightly sweet. Plus, the name, and the bottle with Poe's Raven on the interior back of the label (so you see it when you turn the bottle around), adds a hint of mystery.

Smells WAY different than I anticipated. Heavy on the apple, and just... I dunno. Big fan of this brand usually, but I give this scent 1 star. The customer service, however, was pretty stellar, so I would definitely to do business with this seller again!

It is unfortunate "for women" is included in the title for this product. This scent smells great on me, a man last I checked. It has notes of jasmine, tea, and rose, which all smell musky on me. I sometimes mix this with a more traditional man's cologne on a day when I wake up feeling more insecure about my masculinity. I don't know why any woman would want to smell like tobacco. Any guy can pull this off, but may need to balance it with facial scruff and chest hair.

I am relieved about one thing: as colognes go, it wasn't expensive. I had such high hopes for this product after reading the reviews, but there are VERY STRONG floral notes and it's a lot sweeter than you might think. The name alone makes it a cool product, but I suggest you contact the seller for a sample before you buy. It's not returnable, and I can't even imagine giving it to a friend. Maybe they sent me the wrong bottle - I just looked at the other reviews again. If you really want one, I'll send you mine. Merry Christmas.

Smells like rubbing alcohol when applied. Smells okay after a bit but doesn't last long enough. Bottle came half empty as well.

Wonderful old library scent, really captivating. Doesn't last on skin or fabric though. Pity.

Now, although I absolutely love this scent; it is sadly discontinued. I will personally not be purchasing anything from "Tokyo Milk" again, unless this scent comes back. The rest of the ones they have are entirely too sweet or smells like a rich, old, white lady that hosts next to Martha Stewart. If that's your jam, then more power to ya, but I was extremely saddened to find that this particular scent is gone.

For someone who cannot stand the cigarette smoke scent, this perfume is far from that. This fragrance is a classy tobacco scent reminiscent of a cigar with a sweetness of like vanilla and honey. Must buy scent!
