I recently purchased the UGREEN USB Switch Selector, and it has made a significant difference in my home office setup. This device allows two computers to share up to four USB devices, making it incredibly easy to switch between my work and personal computers. Pros: 1. Easy Switching: The one-button swapping feature is incredibly convenient. With just a press of a button, I can switch my mouse, keyboard, printer, and scanner between my two computers without any hassle. 2. Plug and Play: Setup was a breeze. The device is plug and play, requiring no additional drivers or software. It worked perfectly straight out of the box. 3. Solid Build Quality: The build quality of the switch is excellent. It feels sturdy and durable, with a sleek design that fits well on my desk. 4. Stable Connection: The USB connections are stable and reliable. I haven’t experienced any interruptions or disconnections while using my peripherals through the switch. 5. Included Cables: The inclusion of two USB A to A cables is a nice touch. It saved me the trouble of having to buy extra cables and ensured I had everything I needed to get started immediately. Cons: 1. USB 2.0 Only: This switch is USB 2.0, which is fine for most peripherals like a mouse, keyboard, and printer. However, if you need higher data transfer speeds for devices like external hard drives, you might want to consider a USB 3.0 version. Overall, the UGREEN USB Switch Selector has greatly enhanced my productivity by making it easy to share USB devices between two computers. The product functions as expected, and it includes USB cables. However, the build quality could be improved; the main device is plastic, and the cables are not braided. Despite this, the device has performed well during my nearly two years of use.

Very good product for the use case. I have used this with laptops Linux and mac and windows works with a usb dock to a laptop as well. Very good product recommended. Note you will need an additional usb c power input if you have many items like rgb keyboards that is not included.

Using this for close to 5 years. No issues, just does the job as expected !

Works as intended

Switching between systems is 2-5 seconds slow. It's not instantaneous. Breaks the work flow.

I have wireless mouse, usb headphones with inbuilt mic, keyboard and a cable for mouse to charge if required. Now the problem was when wireless dongle directly attached to switch and later toggled back to current, due to wireless dongle interference mic was not working on teams in call. Ideally both speaker and mic was working. So had to take it away from switch with other hub. Not sure if it was interfering with wifi router next to it. I also tried external power thinking it might be power issue but it wasn't.

Premendo un pulsante sullo switch, posso facilmente commutare tra i due PC e utilizzare le periferiche come se fossero direttamente collegate al computer attivo. La compatibilità è un grande vantaggio di questo dispositivo. Ho testato il UGREEN 4 Porte USB 2.0 Switch su computer con sistemi operativi diversi (Windows e macOS) e ha funzionato perfettamente su entrambi. Inoltre, la velocità di trasferimento dati è stata molto buona per le periferiche USB 2.0, senza alcun ritardo o rallentamento evidente. La costruzione dello switch è solida e resistente, con un design compatto che si adatta facilmente alla scrivania senza occupare troppo spazio. La presenza di indicatori LED per mostrare quale computer è attivo è un tocco utile e intuitivo. Excelente aparatito que hace lo que debe hacer. Es sencillo y de tamaño pequeño. No ocupa espacio en el escritorio. Me ha servido mucho porque tengo una laptop y tambien una computadora de escritorio y el escritorio es pequeño. Este pequeño selector me ayudó a eliminar un teclado y un ratón. Pros: * Pequeño * Es posible compartir 4 dispositivos USB entre 2 computadoras. * No ocupa energía adicional si se usa para seleccionar teclado/ratón. Quizá dispositivos como discos duros externos y memorias USB pudieran ocupar esa energía adicional. * Es de buena calidad (es UGREEN) * Es relativamente económico Contras: * En realidad la única contra es que al oprimir el botón del selector, las computadoras tardan quizá 1 segundo para percatarse de que ha sido activado un teclado/ratón. El selector en sí no tiene fallas. Lo recomiendo por su funcionalidad, calidad y precio.

Tengo dos ordenadores de torre con una sola pantalla y este dispositivo me ha evitado el inconveniente de tener dos teclados y dos ratones. Ahora puedo controlar uno u otro con el botón que tiene este dispositivo. No es necesario enchufarlo a 5V para un ratón y un teclado a mi me funciona bien sin alimentación adicional. A lo mejor si le conecto unos altavoces o la web cam y el micro si que lo necesita, pero en principio no es necesario. Trae dos cables USB macho-macho para que conectes ambos PC por un lado y por el otro lado tiene las entradas para hasta 4 dispositivos. Está bien acabado y no se necesita mas velocidad para un teclado y un ratón o cosas sencillas, no noto ningun tipo de latencia. Ahora a esperar que me dure unos años.
