I am an elementary school art teacher and I am always purchasing "extra" supplies on Amazon to enhance learning. My 2nd-grade kiddos learned some clay techniques, the science behind the firing process, where clay comes from etc. and used what they learned to build ceramic castles. They turned out amazing! To really excite them and help them see how everything has so many possibilities, I decided to purchase LCD lighted candles. I didn't have much time to research or much money to spend (as it's out of my pocket), and I needed quantity. I also hoped for quality so the kiddos could enjoy these a long time, but I wasn't expecting much. Was I pleasantly surprised! These are not the cheap dollar store type of candle I expected to receive. They are a much more durable material, have better detailing, are nice and bright, and are still going after several nights of being left on all night as night lights. I highly recommend this product for any purpose!

These are a great and versatile set of tea lights that I've found many uses.

These are a great value! The brightness is right on. The ONLY thing that I can say that is not positive (I don't want to use the word negative because it isn't really a negative, just a preference) is that the plastic flame is pretty tall and a little too erect. The shape just comes off slightly odd. I buy these candles for the batteries and bulbs to build other items so cosmetics are irrelevant to me.The build quality is right on the mark as well. The battery compartment is easy to access and solid. There are no screws, they snap together. The switch is simple and works without fail. The batteries last a long time also.Overall, it's a no brainier. I'll continue to buy these for my projects. And to be honest, given these are basically staple items, the box they come in is a huge selling feature for me, as it's solid and provides me with a great way to store them.

I purchased these quite some time ago but waited to review to make sure they would stand the test of time. I don’t use these all the time, but when I do, I turn them on and use them until they burn out. They can run for days, flickering 24/7! I have a “coffee bar” table in the bedroom and I have these tea lights in holders (and at times just randomly) on the bottom shelf to add some ambiance and enough light to help us get to the bathroom at night, but not enough to keep us awake. It truly feels like we have candles burning in the space. I bought this set of 36 and based on how long they last, combined with when I use them, they have lasted me a very long time at a very reasonable price. I see they say you can change the battery in them once, I have never bothered, so I can’t speak about that, but when I finally need to replace these, I will definitely buy them again!

I have a ton of tea light candle holders around the house and even more when the holidays start so I need a lot of these guys. When searching for some I found that the overall value of these was the best! You get a lot of lights, for a small price. They come packaged nice and neat in a box that makes for great storage of your extras. There is no tab to pull out before putting these guys to use you just have to move the switch to the on position. With a that said I have several of them that are really tight to move that switch/button to the on spot and a few of them did not work. Now I just took the batteries out of those that did not worked and saved them to see if they will work in another, because these are so cheap I look at them as I will use until they die and just get new, the button batteries are more than a whole box of these. A few of them were stiff and after a few uses did loosen up some so they were easier to use. They are not overly bright and really do have about as much light as a small tea light so if you have a dark or dense holder you might want to look at LED or another product, because these will not be bright enough. If you however have clear, or lightly colored holders, or are going to use these by themselves these are perfect! I have ordered another box with Halloween around the corner we need a lot of these to decorate, overall I am happy with the product, but could not give 5 stars because a few did not work and the brightness is not really there. However I am satisfied with them enough that a second box was fine.

They are great and the price was right. We have about 20 of them in various parts of the house. You turn them on and off when you want them. Battery replacement is easy. We never leave them on all the time, but I would say that battery power is pretty good. We do not find ourselves replacing batteries constantly.

Bought to go in votives for my wedding. Great value for the box. Easy to use lasted all night.

PRO:1. As a test, I turned on one of the tea lights to see how long it would last before flickering out (vendor claimed 100 hours). It lasted over 150 hours non-stop before turning off! I would say it started to fade during the last 4-5 hours, but otherwise it was great.2. Comes packaged very neatly and securely in a compact package that could fit in a drawer or closet easily for storage with no floppy mess.CONS: Only one, and it should hardly come as a surprise - this is a fake tea light so the flame is plastic and looks fake. However I had it inside a candle holder - the typical kind with a pattern cut into it with tiny holes for the light to escape - and it worked great. The only thing you could “see” was a flickering candle, and no one would have been able to tell if it was a real flame or a fake one.BOTTOM LINE: If you want a long lasting, safe tea light and absolute realism is not an issue, this product will fulfill your needs nicely. I am very happy with this product.

We used these inside tealight candle holders as our center pieces for an event and they were perfect. They're super easy to use and the flickering light makes it looks like a real candle. Great touch to any center peice. I absolutely love them.
