Doesn’t connect to computer
Stay away from it. Connecting this thing to your computer requires one MBA, two PhD and half a room of NASA scientists... if in doubt type V650 polar sync problem and you will live better...

This could be a brilliant cycle computer if all the stupid niggles could be sorted out.I have a problem syncing to my android phone but i have another really big issue with the HR strap and monitor. It has never worked correctly since day one but you go on the website and try to get a solution which takes you round the houses i have tried everything. It also uses batteries like nothing ive ever used. I went through 3 new button cells of the correct size and of a reputal manufacturer in one week of cycling whats that all about. I disconnect the strap from the unit I've even removed the battery after a ride and it continuously comes up with a message saying that the battery is low.Like i say this unit has the potential of being a great addition to your cycling arsenal if these stupid little errors were sorted and the QA section was a bit more helpful.Just want to add that i used a wahoo ticker and it works brilliantly 1st time everytime but another niggle has come up in if you pause your ride it sometimes locks out the HR monitor meaning you have to stop your ride and start again which in my oppinon is nothelpful and not what cycle computers are all about

Perfect partner for your cyclist exits
Great GPS, very happy, easy to connect and sync with my Mac. Easy to use, very accurate, I am a regular cyclist and I found my Polar V650 like the perfect partner. Happy!

Waste of money!
Product requires set up with a laptop which is just rubbish. I didnt own a laptop so had to buy one!! Since then trying to get it to sync data through the mobile app has gone from hard work to utterly impossible. Not impressed. Should have bought a Wahoo Elemnt Bolt!!

easy to setup and use
Wow, so much data to pour over after a ride, easy to setup and use. Can change screens on the fly with gloves on. Great item looking forward too many rides using it. Highly recommended

Wsa für ein geiles Teil!
Es ist mir völlig unbegreiflich, wie viel Negatives ich hier über den V650 lesen muss...Beinahe hätte mich das davon abgehalten, ihn zu kaufen. Zum Glück nicht! Was für ein geiles Stück Technik zum kleinen Preis!Ich verstehe die genannten Probleme alle nicht. OK, Koppeln mit Mac und iPhone klappt nicht auf Knopfdruck. Man sollte schon die Bedienungsanleitung lesen, um zu erfahren, dass man dies dem V650 erst mitteilen muss. Auch taucht er nicht sofort in der FlowApp auf - ist aber ein Problem der App, hatte ich bei der M430 auch. App löschen, neu installieren -voilá!Navigation klappt spitzenmäßig, vorausgesetz, man kann Karten lesen. Mir persönlich sogar lieber als Turn-by-Turn, denn die Ansagen kommen zum Radfahren oft zu unpräzise. Der roten Linie folgen ist da viel leichter. Mehr Karten? Mir nicht klar... 450x450km sollten reichen!Sync (am Mac) klappt immer, reibungslos und extrem schnell (im Vergleich zu meiner M400).
