I bought this tea because I read somewhere that it is beneficial to liver and kidney health ... well I can't really tell ... but it has a very interesting flavor and I really like it ... and will buy it again.

Love this tea take it almost every night has a sweet natural flavor with a nutty aftertaste please note this is made from the root of the plant not the flower so there should be no fragrance expectation Once again this tea is made from the root of the plant not the blossom/flower

I don't know what's in this tea, but it taste nothing like Hydrangea. It has a bad odor, a bit like mold. If you can get past this, it does not taste as bad as it smells. If you want Hydrangea, go with Korean Sweet Dew Tea / Hydrangea Leaf Tea - 30g, (loose, not tea bags) sold on Amazon. Both products are from Korea by the Ssangkye Tea Company. I thought this tea would be the same, just in bags. Boy, was I wrong. Buy the loose stuff, it is fantastic, and skip these bags. I'm giving these away. I hope someone else likes them.

Be aware before buying
I fell in love with hydrangea tea on my recent visit to South Korea where a friend of mine served it to me. The tea is supposed to be refreshing with a light floral scent and a natural sweetness that does not rely on sugar. I was surprised to learn that this was being sold on Amazon UK and quickly ordered a box for myself. However the tea from this box had an odd smell and after doing a Google translate of the box ingredients, this actually contains both hydrangea leaves and brown rice. The taste is therefore nutty and grainy with a hint of sweetness. If this is not what you were hoping for after tasting pure hydrangea leaf tea, you should look elsewhere. Sadly this was not mentioned in the product listing so I hope this review helps anyone looking for the original hydrangea tea.
