The Quickie dust pan & broom combo is a "must have" for anyone who cannot get down on the floor to sweep up. I have back problems and this dustpan and broom come with long enough sticks that make sweeping an easy job. I first thought the angle cut broom itself is a bit small, but that turned out to be a good thing because it allows you to get into tight areas. The bristles are firm enough to grab all particles. There is no gap between the rubber flap on the dustpan and the surface you place it on, so the dust and dirt actually ends up in the pan and not under it. The broom connects easily to the pan handle that is made of sturdy plastic and folds up for storage. A very helpful household "must have"!

This works great as a camper broom. I read some reviews before buying & was a little skeptical but have had no problems with it. It has stayed together for me, the handles on both feel sturdy. Breaks down & stores using very little space (I put all the pieces in the dustpan part & into an oversized baggie thing). The broom bristles part that you sweep with is a little flimsy but I like it because I am only sweeping in a small space & I don’t want it to scratch up the flooring. Its also nice because where i stick it in between uses I’m not dealing with broom bristles that scratch my skin. It’s a broom for lightweight jobs. The dustpan is nice, not cheapy & operates well. The broom will not sweep harder surfaces like an outdoor fake grass mat or ash in a fire pit (yes my folks would try to do that)..which is not the purpose I intended it for so I’m good with that.

I have always wanted a set like this and I was extremely excited to receive this item. Unfortunately, I was let down by the quality. It was easy to assemble and is lightweight, but not sturdy. The broom handle has fallen off more than once during only a few uses. The bristles does not carry/move all the debri swept up and leaves trails, requiring extra work. The rubber dustpan strip does not line up evenly with the floor allowing debri to get by and has to be manipulated, requiring extra work. Then my most anticipated feature, the broom cleaner, does not perform as expected. The teeth are spaced too far apart to be effective in holding and removing the debri from the broom. The hair etc. needed to be removed manually, defeating the purpose. Those features were why I purchased this item and sadly, I have just initiated a return and will begin browsing for an alternate set. Total bummer. I will mention however, the many positive reviews do make me wonder if my set is defective? Who knows.....

We were hoping for a telescoping handled broom set for a compact RV kitchen. Please Note that this is a just a regular-sized broom and dustpan set that you have to assemble from pieces from a small box! So it is just slightly less sturdy than a solid broom handled set! The comb idea on dustpan was nice, however it awkwardly comes back apart in many pieces, too difficult to store anywhere it a kitchen. We found a telescoping handled broom set that will easily fit in a small RV cupboard, so this one will be stored below or given away, too bad.

Got this for my parents house. They wanted to use this for garage cleaning. It is very nice and durable. Putting it together was easy for me, less than 3 minutes. My parents like the fact that it is light. The extending and shortening is very quick and it is good for cleaning the ceiling. It is a good buy considering the quality!

I was a little bewildered by the reviewer who complained that the broom came in parts and needed to be put together. Assembly was very simple. Actually, I liked the fact that it came in parts because I was looking for a broom that could be shortened enough (by leaving out a section) so that it could be hidden behind one of the counters in my kitchen and the broom handle would not be seen from the living room of my open floor plan house.. I got it for that purpose...so I wouldn't have to run to the broom closet each time I wanted to do a simple and quick sweeping job after preparing food. It works great for me!

The broom and dustpan are very flimsy. I'm not a big fan of this. I gave it a 4 because it does what brooms and dust pans do... sweep and catch dirt. It's very thin and falls over and has to be prepped up by a wall. So... I wouldn't purchase this again or recommend, but it gets 4 stars because the functionality isn't flawed.

The broom was confusing to put together.. I wish it had sticker labels or something to differentiate. It works well. The best part is the teeth on the dustpan. I am 8 months postpartum and my hair is falling out like crazy so the hair that’s stuck on the broom is so much easier to pull off now
