And here's the perfect method for freezing. I always make a big batch of batter, to have leftovers. Make the extra waffles just like normal, but lay them on a wire rack to cool. DO NOT stack them or they will get soggy. Once cool, break into the 4 quarter size and bag in freezer bags, and freeze. Once cool, it's okay to stack them. I use the defrost setting on our toaster, but I'm sure any toaster will work, just experiment with the settings.
