used in bathroom for the money a bit dubious, well I should not have been, quality superb as a household of 5 adults, lock is used alot and to date no issues and done the trick at a fraction of UK equivalent price. Would def order again. 10 months later still good as new, Def re-order if ever required

Love the concept and but for inadequate screws supplied would have been a 5 star. Good strong steel finished well. Benefit of this design is that if door drops a little unlike slide bolts this will still engage and do its job. Now the points that let it down. It is supplied with 10mm screws. 2 plus 2. One good kick and the screws ripped out if the wood. I used 4.5 x 40mm turbo drive screws and they held firm. Over time wood decays and shallow screws will not hold up. The second point was the river on the peg. Although it would probably hold up well a slightly longer pin riveted down would fill the countersink better. A slight raise in the rivet would not affect I installation as it would in all likelihood sink into the timber keeping a flush fitting.
