Very detailed and organized. Full of practical clinical points to help practicing GI in real life.
This book is worth three to five times its price. It is the best you can get even if you ignore the low price. It is the most comprehensive practical textbook of endoscopy seasoned practitioners can use to update their knowledge and for reference. All GI fellows who read and learn from it right from the start will build their confidence much better. The authors have taken tremendous pains to present everything one needs to know in practical settings of endoscopies.I have been on teaching faculty of GI fellowship program of a reputable gigantic university. Until I read this book, I always felt that there is so much missing between the standard textbooks and DDSEP that the GI fellows were wasting time looking at different books and articles to bridge the gap and still not sure if they got it all done. Their knowledge and skills related to endoscopy can get an immense boost on the basis of solid foundation offered by this book. I have read and bought a variety of overpriced endoscopy books in the past. All those pale in comparison to this one.

Classic
As in prior editions very thorough. Still difficult to keep up on additions of equipment in endo practice.

Incredible resource
As a GI fellow this has been an amazing resource. It is as comprehensive a guide as you can find on endoscopic management of almost every issue a gastroenterologist might encounter. It has current evidence-based support in each chapter, and I find it has a great balance of endoscopic, radiographic, and histologic imaging. All in all, just a phenomenal book.
