Two escaped prisoners join one of the most powerful gangs in Shanghai, the Green Gang, as the right-hand men of the head boss Mr. Tang. When Mr. Tang tries to gain total control over business dealings in Shanghai, he discovers his closest allies are not who they seem and turn against his own men to protect his power. There is the best synopsis I could even manage. This is a complicated story and at some times it gets hard to follow. There are many tw2ists and turns that occur which I won't go into. I always do sub-titles and at times it ran too fast. The actors are amazing they have their parts down perfectly. The fight scenes were superb,I have to say though that I found the ending to be rather unsatisfying, even though it made perfect sense. I did love this movie but the ending made me feel empty.

The way this movie started off I didn’t think I’d have time to breathe let alone concentrate on the story.and what a deep rooted story this is, this is Action galore from the get-go Wow.its not easy explaining this movie other than to give away plot-points so I’ll skip that.so I’ll only say if you don’t like subtitles. don’t worry they’re so fast you can only read some of it.but at the first you get an explaining from our narrating girl..so you can go from there.Widescreen 2.39:1Runtime 133 Min.Cantonese 5.1 DTS-HD.
