I still have my Canon AE1 Program camera. I've taken pictures of my kids from the time they were born to adulthood. I some how lost my flash but was able to find this replacement. I'm happy with it. The only thing is the pocket as shown. Was not with the flash. Finding one is going to be very difficult.

Flash did not work because batteries were leaking and rotted badly inside
Flash body was in good shapeBatteries were exploded inside and leaking. Flash does not work. Was sold in good condition but is in non working condition. Very dissapponting and a waste of time.

MY FLASH UNIT ISN'T WORKING (not a customer complaint for this seller, just need help)
I bought this flash unit off of Ebay for my Canon AE-1 Program and I got it in today. I tried mounting it onto my camera, it has batteries in it, and it is ON but for some reason the pilot lamp isn't lighting up and it's not working when I try to use it. Is this because it's broken? Does anyone know how to fix this or why this is happening?
