Freedom of movement!
I must admit, this is a great little product--just a couple of things that keep it from being a five-star product. The freedom of not being tethered to my amp is fantastic. I didn't have any problems with interference, even though I have numerous wireless devices in use at home. Compared side by side with my cable, there was no difference in clarity--pure tones made it through. The range impressed me. I was able to move more than 20' away and to other rooms--with intervening walls--without any degradation to the signal.I'm giving it only 4/5 stars for two reasons. First, both devices get charged via USB micro port, but only one is included. [That's worth about a half of a star in my book.] The second, more significant issue is a problem with the transmitter unit battery (even after a full, two-hour charge [during which the lights turned green], the device powers on with red lights after sitting in the case for a couple of hours, rather than green). I'm going to test against the listed six-hour battery life and we'll update shortly. I'm also going to give their support team a chance to resolve it.The documentation was adequate, but could use some improvement--nothing described how to tell when the devices were fully charged (the lights turn green). The packaging, itself, was great--the product arrived in great condition. In addition to the study box, the set comes with two fabric bags. The outermost bag isn't really necessary, because there's a nicer, padded bag in the box (in the very bottom). The padded bag is divided, so the transmitter and receiver won't bang around against each other in transit. I'm going to use the thinner, outer bag to keep some other supplies (e.g., capo, spare string).

Great For Low Output Pickups
First of all, the packaging was great. The box was inside a nice pouch and the transmitter/receiver packs were well surrounded with foam. The box itself pulls out of a nice sleeve and is very sturdy. I have no concerns about any damage in shipping with this setup. The instructions were inside of a little pocket and were fairly straight forward. A lengthy charging cable is included as well as a 6 month warranty card. The system is super simple to setup and use. Just plug them in and hold the power button to turn them on. Changing the channels is as easy as pressing the channel button. There's even a +5db gain boost that can be turned on and off by holding down the channel button on the transmitter. I was concerned that it might not fit well in a strat output jack but it turns out that with the swivel attachment it fits nicely and stays out of the way of the last tone knob. The swivel mechanism also made it so it could be plugged into a pedalboard without fear of being stepped on accidentally. As for how it sounds, I had no issues with my strat or other guitars with low output pickups. Sounded just like plugging straight in with a cable. However, when using high output pickups (Seymour Duncan Jazz/JB set and PRS humbuckers) the guitar signal overloaded the transmitter and caused some harsh clipping/distortion. Turning off the gain boost helped but I still couldn't hit the string hard without causing the signal to clip.Changing channels is very easy if you have any interference for some reason. The lights on the packs make it very easy to understand when they're paired properly as well as when they need to be charged. The battery life is very good and holds up to the 4-6 hour battery life claim.Overall, this is a decent wireless setup if you like vintage voiced guitars. The price is very reasonable and I heard no difference in tone when compared to a cable. I would not recommend this if you use high output or more modern voiced pickups as the transmitter will distort in an unpleasant way but would if you like more vintage voiced pickups.

Great value Guitar TX and RX
I'm not a performer, just a wanna-be rock star/musician. Mostly play acoustic and classical but a new amp in my life had me picking up my electrics again, because "I wanna Rock".It wasn't long before I tripped over the cord getting up to get some sheet music and pulled the guitar off the stand, and decided it was time to go wireless. Did some searching, and stumbled upon these so I gave them a shot. The Good:- They work as advertised, out of the box, turned them on, plugged one into the AMP, one into the guitar, set the channel and away I went. They couldn't be any easier to use.- I couldn't tell any discernible difference between being plugged in or wireless.- They are small-ish, and light, you don't feel them in the guitar in any way.- Battery life so far, I got 4 hours out of a practice session and never drained the battery so that's good. Don't really know how long they really last, the docs say 6+ hours.Downsides:- I really wish they would have simplified the packaging a little bit, not all products need to try and give you an Apple like unboxing experience.- They only come with (1) charging Micro USB cord, they should come with either (2) or a Y cord so that you can charge both.- They also don't come with a wall wart, so I'll need to find/scavenge another, rather two of them in order to charge them. They still get 5 stars, couldn't be simpler. Going to order another set for another guitar.
