Great replacement to handle
This is a nice replacement to the useless handle that comes with the car. Color Matches. Easy removal of the handle an installation of the glasses case, less than 5 minutes. Also fits the FIAT 500X.

Awesome.
Finally a decent storage option for my glasses/sunglasses. Install was easy and the color matches almost perfectly. The tension spring could be a little stronger as sometimes you have to help it close, but once it is my glasses stay secure, out of the way, and safe from scratches.

Great accessory!
I mean seriously? Who actually uses their grab handle on the drivers side? For the Jeep Renegade it honestly was just a decoration. I wish I had found this sooner! It's nice to have my sunglasses out of the way and in easy reach. I don't have to go hunting for them anymore.Install was pretty easy. I just looked at the parts and kinda figured it out since there are no instructions included. I was able to get the handle out with no problem. My only issue was during putting the case up. The left side was somewhat easy to push through... but, the right side I couldn't get it, even with all my weight behind it. I gave it my all and finally gave up and let my husband try... and of course he was able to get it on the first try.The springs are not very strong so you have to push it closed, and while I'm driving - if I go over a bump, I can hear my glasses rattle above me.So far I'm liking it and hope to continue to do so. I'll add photos of the install so you know have to put it in yourself.

What do you know?
I thought, what the heck, this is pretty inexpensive. Even if it doesn't work I'm not out much. But it is a pleasant surprise. The light color matches perfectly with the Jeep interior. I actually put it in on the passenger side as I do use the handle on the drivers side and you can reach over and get to the passenger side since Renegades are not exactly huge vehicles. It works great and was easy to install. That little tool they send is important. You could do it with a small screwdriver I suppose, but you might mark up something and I'm guessing that is why they put the tool in. Nice touch. I'm keeping it as I can think of a few other times when something like it could have come in handy and would have likely paid a few bucks for that alone. So, don't worry about wrecking anything including the old handle. It comes out with just a bit more force than you might be comfortable with and no damage. Just when you think, OK, I'm going to break something, the handle will pop out. This pops in easily. The ONLY complaint and is not really one, as such, is that I think they should have used a stronger spring. It goes up to close, but not decisively and you have to give it a little push to fully close it. I was looking at the robust spring on the OEM handle and wishing I could use it instead. But, as noted, this is NOT a deal breaker. It works well and looks good and I now have a place for my sunglasses. Perfect. Almost... And a good idea from whomever thought of it.

This is a fantastic product. Was pretty easy to install but it ...
This is a fantastic product. Was pretty easy to install but it would have been easier with better instructions. Just realize the tool is used for pulling open the covers of the clamps of the installed sidebar handle to the inner wall of the roof and then you need to press the clamps down to release the actual handle. Then push the covered clamps on the sunglass holder into place in each location. Install the included small matching pieces into the clamps to keep them open inside the inner wall of the roof so the holder stays in place. The pictures don't show this as well as it could. Maybe a video showing the installation would answer most all questions on the installation. Works like a champ and even holds my larger pair of Raybans quite nicely.

Fantastic addition to 2018 Jeep Renegade TrailHawk
Fantastic addition to my 2018 Jeep Renegade TrailHawk. The Renegade is remiss of areas to stow things, so I consider this a must have to keep your glass secured and undamaged.Color is very close to interior. The useless handle area now serves a purpose!Installation was easy, pushing in the lock pin is a thumb buster but it will go in.Only detractor as other has mentioned is that it doesn't finish closing all the way by itself. It's not like the glasses are going to fall out or anything, just needs a little nudge to snug up tight. I suppose if they made the spring too strong people would complain its snapping shut to hard or its too hard to open.

Aaaaaaa!!! Sunglass Holder!
I've NEVER thought about ripping something off my car and installing something else. So when I got a 2016 Jeep Renegade I wasn't going to change a thing. It's just a car right? Well after replacing the cup holder mats I started going through Amazon for more accessories. Sunglass holder sounded awesome but was more than a little scared about installation. The video is golden! Installation was easy! I agree with other reviewers that the springs are wimpy, but if you had stronger ones it might pinch your fingers or scratch your glasses and you might not be able to open it one handed while driving. Think of it as a soft close. It is a very tight fit but it fits all the same. Love it! Now I wonder if those floor mats are on sale..... ;-)

No instructions provided. Make sure you go through the photos on Amazon to get the instructions.
No instructions provided in the package, luckily, the instructions are in the photos of the product on Amazon. Overall, the product was easy to install once I found the instructions. Biggest issue I have is that there is a spring on only one side. Even without glasses in the compartment, you have to help it closed, as the spring on the one side isn't strong enough to close the compartment. Planning on adding another spring to the other side to solve this issue. If the unit would have come with instructions, and closed properly, I would have not hesitated to give this five stars as it fills a need Jeep somehow missed with the Renegade interior layout.
