    Beautiful Canisters - but I screwed up.....

I am sure this is my own fault, but there were no instructions about cleaning these canisters except on the box itself and although it says to remove the plastic/rubber seal and wash them - it doesn't say NOT to submerge the black lid with the handle itself..... which I stupidly did and now I can't get them dry because the water got up inside the space allotted for pushing down to seal the lid.  Also - they misspelled "wrap" - on their instructions; kind of lost some confidence there.  LOL  I do intend to contact the manufacturer for more detailed instructions.  But the product itself is very decorative and I'm sure will serve me well once I get more information.  Delivery, as always, was impeccable and I still say "Three-cheers for Amazon."

This product does meet my expectations up to this point. I haven't had it very long. The set was packaged very well but also condensed. The latches work well. Very nice looking set. I wish the outside dimensions would have been included. I ended up having to raise a shelf to accommodate the tall one, which could have eliminated useful storage above the shelf. Luckily everything worked out.

I unwrapped two of the containers to rinse them out by hand and they immediately got water stuck INSIDE of the lid.  If the rest of the containers are like this, they will not work for storing foods that need to be kept dry.  I will have to return them.
