Q: The chocolate color looks almost black in photos. Is it that dark or is it clearly brown?

It is a chocolate brown I purchased a pair but they sent the wrong size. I have a black pair and they’re amazingly comfortable especially if you have problems with your feet! Dansko runs a size larger than you normally wear

Q: Are the bottoms slip resistant?

Sorry because my answer is little late. Those shoes are the more confortable I ever have. They fit perfect around my feet. They are non-slip for normal textured surfaces. Not for slippery or wet areas.

Q: Is this Dansko a size 37 which is what I need

My European size is a 42 (USA size 11), so I'm not familiar with a size 37. But I am very familiar with this Dansko shoe style! I'm on my third pair, and I really love 'em!
