Fits My Ruger 22/45
Bought this grip for my Ruger 22/45 and once you file the angle adjacent to the bolt release a little, it fits perfectly. I was reluctant at first to buy the Black grips thinking they might turn out to look like cheap plastic, but they do not. Once on the gun they look very sharp indeed. Understated, but sharp. I even managed to retain my Pearce Gun Grip inserts (PG1911-1), with a little trimming. I love the Rubber Finger Grooves. You do have to tug them into place before you final tighten the screws as the Crimson Trace panels seem a little large for the cutout, but they do fit. I had to buy standard size 1911 bushings due to the increased thickness of the two, for those interested they fit the stock just fine. I cut off the top of the Pearce insert just below the magazine eject pin on the laser side, so the laser would sit flush against the stock The inserts are only 1mm thick so there's no problem there. I had to use the low profile bushing that came with the gun for that one screw (just below the laser). The grip screws that came with the gun fit these new 1911 bushings BTW, with no damage, although I believe they are of a different thread pitch ( threads per inch). The laser itself works as expected, just fine. This is not my first Crimson trace laser. What's neat about these lasers is the ability to practice and see exactly how much pull off center you have, If you can dry fire your gun, that is. As always, Crimson Trace makes a quality product. I'm well pleased with these Grips, so far, so good.

Very easy to install; great laser.
I bought one for a new Kimber LW with suppressor. After I installed and tested it I bought a second one for my Kimber Pro-carry that I use for EDC.I did run into one issue which is Kimber's failure. The Kimber LW grip bushings came out when I tried to unscrew the grip. I fixed all but one that looked like it had damage from the factory. The threads were stripped and on the advice of a gunsmith I bought some red loctite and it seems functional now.

green laser is great.
Very easy to install. This is my second Laser Grip. The grips are very functional. Fit my small hands and I can turn the laser on with very little pressure. Front activation is so much better than my other Laser Grips which are side activated. With small hands I can barely reach the activation trigger. All in all it's great to have the Laser Grips because at 89, and wearing tri-focal glasses, iron sights are a blur. LOL

Highly Visible and Accurate From First Installation.
I bought the Crimson Trace LG-401 Lasergrips form my Kimber TLE II Custom. Easy installation by removing the hex screws and existing pistol grips. The green laser is visible farther than the red laser as I have the red laser on my Kimber Custom CDP II. I didn't have to adjust the laser as I hit center bullseye at 25 yards firing Hornaday Critical Duty 10mm ammunition. One important note that others have mention in their reviews that I can't emphasis enough is this lasergrip WILL NOT FIT 1911s with AMBIDEXTROUS SAFETIES as the right safety is where the laser is on the pistol grip. I don't keep my laser switch on when I have it my safe but turn it on when ever I take it out. The front activation button works good with your normal pistol grip. Anyone with old eyes can benefit from having lasers on their pistols. I highly recommend these laser grip for anytime use.

Great price but lots of shipping issues
This is an update: I went to the gun range today. I was able to sight the laser in quickly. WOW! Bright and accurate and it doesn't drift. I added a photo take today after aligning the laser. This was from 30 feet with my Colt Combat Commander 45. I did not use sights other than the laser. I ran through 2 magazines with a few reloads. This gun will now be my constant conceal carry gun. It is big, but I have a great holster and I hardly notice I am wearing it. If I lose batteries on the laser, I can switch to the Vortex Red Dot which is also dead on. It is just a bit slower to turn on, where the grips are instant on once I pull my gun out of my holster. I love this laser. Highly recommended...Installed them on my Colt Combat Commander. Fits perfectly. It was very close to being sighted in from the factory. Only took a few seconds to adjust. Adjustment is smooth. Laser is strong and stays set. Price is great from Amazon. Here is where the issues are: First order Amazon sent the wrong grips. I ordered LG-401G. I was sent LG-415 grips. I got them on time, but wrong part. I called and got a replacement ordered. I boxed up the grips to send back and they were picked up the next morning. But I can't see where they were received by Amazon. Amazon shipped a replacement AT NO EXTRA CHARGE, but they never arrived. Even now they are still missing. I called back after a week of it being late and they (Amazon) sent another set of grips which arrived on time (this also was with NO EXTRA CHARGE). My beef is the shipping and handling really sucks. The good part is that Amazon made it good and got the parts to me... Better late than never.I do love the grips. Easy to install. Since I did get the grips, I ordered some bling with a new OWB holster for my Colt Combat Commander with a Vortex Red dot capable and bling grip screws and a multi-tool. So Amazon is forgiven.

Has given me back the joy of shooting
A well known product at a great price. My tired old eyes have trouble using iron sights, but this laser has given me back the joy of shooting. Laser activates from the middle finger grip, not from the trigger. Especially fun when shooting reactive steel plate targets. The green laser is very bright and visible in daylight, far superior to the red lasers. This uses commonly available and relatively inexpensive wafer batteries. You do have to remove both sides of the grips to replace them, but that is quick and simple.

Works great
Works great for what I needed it for. The only con was the adjustment was a little stiff at first, was afraid I was gonna damage it, but once it broke loose it was fine, and I would recommend, just a little pricey I thought but I would buy it again
