This is a fantastic device! It worked on the first attempt using it, and picked up the small metal zipper that fell into my dryer vent. It has a light, which makes your project much easier.

Between the cat and my own lack of coordination, I'm always dropping small items (tweezers, nail files, nail clippers for the cat) into the narrow space between the very, very heavy bed and the wall. This tool is great, because the magnet picks them up without my needing to use the claw. My husband was just able to use it to reach something just out of reach under the bed. My only reason for not rating it 5/5 is that it does require some effort to hold the claw open (push in to extend the claw, let go to close the grip and withdraw it if it's empty). Also, the claw blades are likely to scratch or puncture soft things. This is not a concern if you're trying to unclog a drain, since you want to break up whatever is in there, but not so good if you have dropped something delicate.

Perfect tool for the part you dropped in to that spot that you can’t reach. With an expandable claw, a magnet, and a light….. that is the right tool for the job.

I love this tool! I needed something to feed my fish with. I hate having to stick my whole arm into the 55 gallon fish tank every day to feed a blood worm cube to my meat eating fish because my tetras keep eating the worms before my eel and cichlid can smell it. I have to tuck the cube into a tunnel at the bottom. I got this tool, pinched the button, loaded in a cube, led it down into the tunnel, and retracted. It stayed in there and my arm stayed dry! Ha! I love this!

It’s shorter than what measured and not sure it will do what I thought as a pooper scooper but prongs short! This was my creative thought to turn this into a lightweight pooper grabber but prongs to short!

Bon outil avec petite lumière qui est pratique dès fois même quand ont a rien à attraper juste pour voir, l aimant fonctionne mais vous ne soulèverez pas des kilos , enfin pour quelques boulons ça fera largement le job. This is a 60cm long flexible rod with a grabber lever at one end and a magnetic ring and retracted grabbing claws at the other. You pull the lever like a syringe and when you pull it, the four metal claws extend from the hole at the bottom of the rod. When you let go of the lever, the claws grip the item with a decent amount of force to not drop it. The magnet at the end of the rod is also useful if you need to pick up something metallic, but it might struggle with anything too heavy, as the magnet isn't that strong. You can bend the rod into the appropriate shape for the situation and it will hold the shape well. However, if you apply any force to it, the rod will bend further. One of the most useful features is the built-in light. There is a button on the handle that turns on the light. The light is a bit obscured when the claws are retracted but, once the claws are opened, the light is bright enough to be useful. The description says batteries aren't supplied, but they are. You just have to unscrew the handle and remove the paper cover on top of the batteries to activate them. I used this grabber to pull out a shower hose that had come detached from the shower head and disappeared down a hole in the top of the bath. The grabber just about gripped the 2cm wide hose and, after quite a lot of patience, I managed to get it out. This saved me have to smash the tiles on the bath panel to get to the underside of the bath, so worth every penny.
