Way too lightweight for an aquarium. Glow lasts less than 5 minutes
I bought fourteen bags (nine green, five mixed color) of these for my 50 gallon aquarium to go along with several other bags of another brand of glowing "rocks" (read light, cheap plastic pieces). First I rinsed them off because some had a light film on them, which was no big deal at all, just noting it. I've had them in the tank which is filled almost to the top with fresh water and is the home of my four aquatic turtles. So on to the pros and cons.Pros:They do glow and they look really cool. I've got quite a few daylight white (6000k) spectrum LEDs shining on them and they glow nice and bight with all lights off, at least while the glow lasts.Cons:The glow lasts maybe 3 minutes. I tested a handful under even more light and closer to the light source to see if that would change anything and it really didn't.They are super lightweight... I mean SUPER lightweight. They are very cheap, very light plastic. Out of 14 bags I had more than a dozen pieces that floated to the top no matter how long I left them in the water or tried to cover them with other pieces, so those pieces were picked out and thrown away.Because they are so lightweight, pretty much ANY movement causes the pieces to shift around. It's very frustrating to reach into the water and try to organize things only to have the water flow from my hand several inches above them, and my turtles, well they are very small (2" diameter) and they push these around with zero effort. I also have some air stones and bubble curtains in my tank. If any of these "stones" gets near them they get launched to the surface of the water. At any given time when I look over at my tank I see one or two of them very slowly making their way back to the bottom.Sort of con:For the price the number of pieces you're getting the price seems pretty decent, but when you get them and see how small they are and how small of a surface area they cover, it seems very expensive. To cover any kind of landscaping like they show in the picture would easily cost hundreds of dollars. I'm marking this as sort of a con because they aren't hiding the number of pieces for the price, but be aware that 110 pieces isn't much, maybe two fist fulls, one and a half fists for a big guy like me.I'm giving them 2 stars because yes, they do glow, and they glow nice and bright, but only 2 stars because the glow doesn't last long enough to amount to anything really and they are way too light for one of their intended uses, which is in an aquarium.Would these be nice for landscaping? I don't know, maybe? I mean, it seems like they are so lightweight that a decent wind or rain would easily displace them.I am eagerly awaiting some decorative real stone so I can remove these and put something much better in my aquarium. What will I do with these? That is a very good question that I don't have an answer to, but I sure did waste a lot of money on these.

These are not real stones and it works only if the room is completely dark and been on direct light before
