Excellent knife set and is well worth the cost. Quality is excellent, the blade are sharp, the weight is great and the handle is the perfect size.The only problem I had is with the sheath. Because the smaller knife overlaps the larger ones, it is very difficult to get the snaps in place due to the overlapping knives.

ZERO issues with this set of knives. Solid, nicely balanced, and very sharp (I saw reviews stating they arrived dull, but definitely NOT the case here). I harvested my first hog with this set. Definitely would recommend this set especially at the price point I purchased it at!

All of these feel great, i got big hands and these feel good, they’re heavy and sturdy, the scales don’t PERFECTLY match with the tang but it’s hardly noticeable unless you’re looking for it.

For $30, you're getting three solid knives. The blades came fairly sharp, hit them with a quick go-around on the sharpener and they shave fine now.So far I've mainly used the hunting knife on day trips and overnighters, which is sturdy enough to baton wood, and the finger groove allows you to choke up on the blade nice for shaving wood curls.The skinning knife fits perfect in my hand and has been useful as well, mostly for cutting paracord when i forgot my folding pocket knife at home.Haven't used the gutting knife yet, but then again I haven't killed any game this year.My only gripe is the stupid three-knife sheath that is unwieldy on a belt loop.

So you need to level set expectations before you buy this set: it's cheap. That being said, cheap is sometimes ok and sometimes you only need "Ok".That out of the way, the set is "Ok". The largest knife came with multiple chips in the blade that are quite bad. The gutting knife also suffered from a few lesser chips, but was better. The smallest knife is... well too small for anything useful IMO, but it didn't have chips in it.Despite the poor quality of the blade, they're decently balanced. The largest blade fits my hand VERY well and the gutting knife also feels good. The small knife would be great for that dude from Scary Movie 2 ("Take my strong hand!!!") or a toddler (not condoning that). The handles are not flush with the blade, which does mean that despite the fit, you may experience irritation or pinching.The provided carrying case is decent enough that I won't replace it, but the placement of the restraining straps is awkward at best.That being said, a little elbow grease can take the chips out and they work for my purposes. I don't know that I'll use the gutting knife as my Gerber is MILES ahead of it in terms of quality, but as a set you can't go wrong at this price.I'd buy it again for myself, but wouldn't gift it due to the quality issues mentioned above. It's an "ok" set at an "ok" price. The world is run by C average students, so as mentioned before: "... sometimes you only need 'Ok'."
