Wellbee's Honey Ketchup - Paleo & SCD Approved - No Preservatives!

I used to follow a very strict SCD diet. These days I've incorporated other foods into my diet but still use SCD as a loose guide. I've only been able to do this because SCD worked so well for me many years ago when I first started it, and the yogurt continues to heal my gut. It's wonderful being able to broaden my diet, but there are still some products that I will never stray from - one of these is Wellbee's Ketchup. Most Ketchups have high fructose corn syrup in it, which I would never touch. It's been so long since I've had Heinz, but I can still remember how watery and overly sweet it was.Wellbee's Ketchup has the perfect amount of honey. It's tangy and not overly sweet but definitely not acidic either. The consistency is perfect. It tastes a lot like homemade ketchup (but better!), which I used to make before stumbling upon this product.At first glance, it may seem expensive, though, if you're used to following SCD or paleo, you're unfortunately probably used to spending extra money to eat healthy. It really is worth the money, and for me, it lasts for a long time. Tastes great with breakfast sausage, meatloaf, chicken, steak, basically anything you put it on!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  When the product arrived it had no label like in the Amazon pictures and it has a sticker saying the inside foil isn't designed to be sealed (and it's not). Furthermore the outside plastic doesn't actually prevent the lid from being screwed off and back on. I'm kind of afraid to eat it.The Amazon photos say refrigerate after opening. If the internal seal isn't sealing anything it could have been opened months or years ago and I'd have no idea. There is no obvious expiration date on this generic bottle.Is this how Wellbee's quality control works or did I get a counterfeit product from a third party?Photos and video included to illustrate what I mean.

Love this product! If you are refraining from refined sugars, this is it! Theirs ketchup taste way better than any store bought major brand out there. It’s sweetened with honey and has a rich tomato taste. If I didn’t know any better, I’d think it was homemade with dark brown sugar. It is pricey so I wouldn’t recommend to use it in recipes that require cups of it. You’d want to benefit from tasting it in its fullness! We used this as a topping on our meatloaf and didn’t have to mix it with any other ingredients as recipes call to add, mustard, karo, salt, etc. It is great just by itself! We buy it all the time, However, looking for another product that is not as expensive that will provide the same quality.

I adore this ketchup! After worrying over finding a solid recipe that was SCD compliant, my cousin's wife turned me onto Wellbee's. It's hands down the tastiest commercial ketchup I've ever had. The flavors are bright, you can taste the honey, and it's not too sweet. Love it.

So, I'm giving this 3 stars because it's not a bad product it just doesn't taste like a ketchup. Something about the honey and clove move this more towards a BBQ sauce than a ketchup. I really really really wanted this to be a good ketchup, but it isn't. And as others have mentioned it's VERY sweet. I'm going to try it the next time I smoke chicken because I think it would be good for that application but it's staying away from our burgers, hot dogs and potatoes.

The expensive ketchup arrived opened and leaking out into the delivery envelope. If it had a seal, it is no longer intact. afraid to consume

I love this stuff. I'm too lazy to make my own "Paleo" ketchup so thought I'd try this. OMG it's so good. My only complaint is it's EXPENSIVE so I have to hide it in the back of the fridge b/c everyone else likes it too. Mix this w/ horseradish for the best cocktail sauce!! The most flavorful ketchup ever w/o being cloyingly sweet.

We used this for hot dogs, hamburgers and it tasted like a barbecue sauce .Disappointed. Will look for Hellman's.
