Lovers Rockのヴォーカルグループとして認識されていたイギリスのTraditionの作品をダブ化したほぼ誰も知らなかった1980年作品。イギリスのダブですが、Jah ShakaやDennis Bovellなどの有名どころではなく、おそらくプロデューサーのDavid Tyroneがミックスをしています。幻の名作、しかもUK産ダブと聞くと、「外連味たっぷりでガチャガチャうるさいだけでは？」と身構えてしまうのですが、技術的な制限のためか無意味な音の変化は少なく、Rolandのspace echoでめいいっぱい広がった広大な空間を、様々な具体音が流れ星のように飛び交うという、天体観測のように美しいダブです。くわえられたエフェクトの具合はThe DeepのPsychedelic Moodsとよく似ていて（originalのライブラリ音が追加されたバージョンを聞いてください）、普段そういう音楽を聞いている人のダブ入門にもよさそうです。ただ、基本的に全曲同じような感じなので、たった30分超の収録時間を長く感じてしまいました。まあ、そんな細かいことは考えないで、天気のいい夕暮れにビールを飲みながら空を眺めてスピーカーでやや小さな音で繰り返し再生すれば、気持ちのいい夜が迎えられます。夏の夜のお供にどうぞ。
