Free Will (Oxford Readings in Philosophy)

Just plain fun reading this book! All the major contemporary opinions on the subject by people who makes it's study their life's work. Will make a lot of new connections of synapses in your brain!!!

The book came right on time. I ordered this book for a college philosophy course. In this book, there are many wonderful essays that share many different perspectives on free will and how it may be exercised. It's a very good read, but it requires some time to digest many of the complicated ideas on the subject.

A great source for anyone interested in learning more about the Free Will debate. You don't need to be a student or academic to gain a great handle on the issues. Frankfurt's articles are my favorite. Who needs genuine alternate possibilities, anyway?

Great volume. The exclusion of Pereboom's Determinism Al Dente is still puzzling me. But overall a great anthology for the field. I hope a new edition will come and somehow making essays in this book more systematic and topical.

Looking forward to reading it.

Some of the terminology is a bit dated but as long as you understand how the writers use certain words, this book is well organized and has great articles.

I got this for a paper and it was extremely useful. The shipper was fast to send and the condition was perfect.

Decently helpful, although I find Gary Watson uses a paragraph where a sentence would probably suffice. The book itself was a bit damaged and the spine had completely split open leaving a gap in the pages aroundabout the pages where Gary Watson gives his own essay on free will.
