Exide EK131 AGM Auxiliary Car Battery

I bought this replacement Aux battery for my 2014 Mercedes AClass W176 A200 CDI AMG Sport as my start-stop functions have been dead for some time now. I was hoping that once this battery arrived, I could perform a quick replacement and be done with it. However, I noticed that the connecting positive & negative terminals were not threaded/ were missing a square bolt to screw into. (See images of the Exide replacement vs the OEM Mercerdes Original Battery). I contacted the seller who were unable to advise, meaning I have had to contact Exide directly for advice on where to buy the components, as without them I cannot install the battery. Also, it is worth noting for anyone looking to do this replacement themselves- the exhaust outlet for battery vapour located at the back the original battery, does not need to be connected to this Exide battery.

You receive a "AGM12-12 EXIDE MOTORCYCLE BATTERY 12V 12AH - EK131 replacement" motorcycle battery rather than the EK131 13 AH Auxiliary Start-Stop battery shown in the image, but it works fine as a car auxiliary start-stop battery (fitted for one month in a Mercedes GLA - its a sealed battery so vent tube doesn't need to be connected).

Bought for my dad's Mercedes E-class. He had already replaced the auxiliary battery at the Mercedes garage but it stopped working about a year later. He decided to replace it himself with this product, and it's been a couple of years and it's still going! Definitely saved us a lot of money.

Had an auxiliary battery fault on my factory fitted one. Easy to swap out, took less than 10 minutes. There are videos on youtube if you're planning on doing it yourself.
