A "Can't Put It Down" hit!
It has been a long time since I picked up a book that I "couldn't put down." The transcriber (author) in this book is visited by a 500 year old alien. Observations on religion, work, money, relationships, politics, celebrities and a very observant chapter on death, living and dying add up to good brain and heart expansion along with mind challenging discussions. I have definite (sometimes stubborn but right) opinions on many subjects, but this story opened up a lot of thought provoking issues for me. A wonderful book! A definite plus as a selection for book clubs!

Insightful Advice from a Alien
We all have to wonder what an advance society would think of how we choose to live our lives on this planet. This book is written from the perspective of a 500 year old Alien on a variety of subjects like money, work, religion and celebrities. The chapter on death from the view of an Alien was touching and insightful. The book makes you contemplate how we as a society have let unimportant things effect the quality of the one life we are given. It reminded me of `The Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy' without the silliness. You might not agree with all his advice but you will remember it. A very enjoyable fast reading book from an Alien with a dry wit who loves Baseball.
