Very good and study bumper light bar holder
The build material and build quality are very good: feels sturdy. Definitely better than the cheaper ones that are lightweight and are not welded well together. This product is not designed to be a bull bar or be front bumper protection as it is not made of heavy steel. This product was easy to install on my car’s front bumper and fit perfectly. I have a 22in light bar installed on it which overhangs the end slightly but still able to hold it steady. Have gone through large potholes and bumps and this product is still going strong and tight.

Great quality
I love it. I attached it upside down to the back license plate and it works great as a rear bumper guard 😊

Pretty sturdy
This is a pretty sturdy piece, looks durable. not heavy.Doesn't come with mounting hardware. In my case, I use the 6 holes to mount it (led bar coming). It doesn't move at all.I love the fact that it is the size of a US licence plate, too many are euro standard size (sort of). Front plate is still visible.Down point note not related to he product. I had to order it twice, first order got lost, so I cancelled it and then it got found. Second order, took twice the time, going from east coast, to West Coast, then east coast back to finally arrive. Don't know what happen in transport.

Honestly fairly impressed. For the price it is perfect.
I’m a little confused about people saying it is flimsy or not thick. I didn’t buy this disillusioned that it was somehow a bumper guard for high-speed accident protection. It is a license place/light holder/light-duty bumper guard, for a US style license plate. And for those purposes it is sufficiently strong and put together. It cannot be bent by hand at the angle and the “pipe” is probably conduit type metal thickness, but for the purpose it is perfect without being heavy. As far the paint quality it is “ok” I would expect it to rust in short order on the front of your car, but I am protecting mine with Raptor spray, but any bedliner would work fine, with this extra protection I think it will last the life of the vehicle. It should hold most fog lights and any bar lights up to about 12”. I could totally make this for far less money, but for the convenience I personally think it is well worth it.

Very nice looking and solid construction
Solid construction and looks really cool. Only problem is the bumper on my grande Cherokee doesn’t have anything solid to mount it too, it would be too flimsily attached. My purpose is to protect my suv from cars bumping into me as I live in a crowded city with careless parkers. Being backed into would damage my bumper.Only thing is they charged me $5 to send back. It though Amazon was big on easy/free returns. And I even get the thing a good review

Best way to anchor lights without making unnecessary extra holes in vehicles
This is my 2nd bracket like this I have bought and put on the front of a newer car where there was absolutely no good place to mount any fog lights or other light accessories? Anchors well to your original license plate holes with the bolts that hold your license plate on in most cases. I have used heavier larger screws for extra strength as well and driven screws into the other holes in this bracket as well. . Of course using other holes in this bracket usually means making a few new holes in your vehicle that still be under the license plate so they shouldn’t be seen any way! But if needed you can make this bracket more secure on your vehicle if the license plate screws or bolts don’t seem secure enough for your bracket you’re putting on? All and all this is still one of the best solutions for putting lights or other accessories on the front or possibly even the back of your vehicle when there’s no other good solution that add extra lights without drilling unsightly holes in your vehicle! This bracket I got this time also seemed to be stronger then the first one I bought? No flex at all and my first one did have a little flex. Maybe I got this second one from a different manufacturer? But I highly recommend this one!

Nonexistent “aluminum”
The media could not be loaded. Needing some protection for a mount for a pair of Feniex surface mount RWYB emergency strobes, which cost $100 each. Using this plate bar was my hope to help protect my lights from parking impacts. The main purchasing point for me was the claim that this plate was all aluminum. But with a magnet in hand that is not at all the case.So now we must consider paint quality (other reviewers had mixed responses). My gut instinct since I’ve worked for decades with after market equipment is that the steel used here is not coated with powder coating or galvanized metal. I’m concerned that once this plate becomes exposed to elements and debris at 65+ MPH that paint chipping will easily happen and rust will begin to stain my white SUV. SO I’m torn whether to try to coat this with an undercoating spray or marine paint vs return for refund.
