Easy to install; comes with tools
Easy to install. Comes with screw srivers needed to install the battery. Good quality and great battery life.

DO NOT BUY!
I wish I gave this product a -5! I should have listened to a reviewer who said this battery damaged their computer—it did the same to mine! When I plugged it in, I saw a spark, and afterward, my laptop showed "Battery Not Detected.' A technician found two bent copper pins due to misalignment of the connector, which caused a power spike that killed my laptop. I had to replace it with a used computer of a similar model and could incur over $300 in data retrieval repairs on the old hard drive. I'm furious Amazon sells such knock-offs. The battery photos lack the HP symbol, noticed only after the damage. Please spend extra to buy a genuine HP battery or hire a tech for installation. I hope this warning saves others from data loss.

Went in with no problems. Way cheaper than having it replaced. Was not hard to do couple of screws, time and a little patience. Saved $100s

Defective - sunk cost
Did not work and it bricked my laptop!I took it to a tech who bench tested the battery in isolation. They said there was nothing - won't take or hold a charge. Wouldn't even register.Another situation where the hassle of trying to return for a refund doesn't offset the time and cost required. Sunk cost.This is my second failed order for aftermarket laptop parts through Amazon. Never again - I will ONLY buy through a reputable OEM parts supplier.

Very good customer service
I had some issues with the first battery I received. But the company was very responsive, very good with their communications, and sent me a replacement battery right away.

Correction: Battery not at fault. Charge port broken and laptop changed to only 80% charging.
Battery not at fault and charge port on laptop was to blame and Windows changed to 80% max charge to prolong battery. One HP battery health check did say replace battery but subsequent scans say battery is ok. I wanted to update with new info.
