This product does its job well. And that is to extend the tap's length. Fits instantly and stays there. I am using it to extend the tap on my kitchen sink. The builder provided a tap with short length. This is better than replacing the tap or calling a plumber to fit a pipe extension.The fitting ring is soft, either rubber or silicone. That is needed to secure the extension on the metal tap. The 3 inch extension is hard plastic and that is needed to keep the water flowing in the right direction. The product is logically designed. It will be unfair to give 4 stars if a child pulls out the fitting. Not the product's fault.I am giving it five stars for also being the cheapest on Amazon. Real value for money.
