Generally works well, great value with a few quirks
I bought this camera to use at our church for livestreaming to Youtube. I was looking for a camera that supported RTMP encoding for direct streaming to Youtube as well as ONVIF over IP for control by a PTZ joystick. This camera does all that with a few quirks.Setup: There is basically no documentation that I could find on how to set up the camera. The default IP address is printed on the bottom of the camera, and the default username/PW is admin/admin. This allowed me to access to web configuration which seemed to work well.Changing settings: All of the settings that you need to adjust are in one of the web menus. In order to apply the settings, you need to press "APPLY" at the bottom. This is not quite enough, though. Make sure that you also reset the camera - by power cycling via remote control, disconnecting and reconnecting the power, or by selecting "reboot" via the web menu. I had to do this in order to change from static IP to DHCP, and it took me a while to get this figured out.ONVIF over IP: I really wanted to use this controller - Network Keyboard LEFTEK,IP Keyboard 4D IP PTZ Controller with LCD monitor display Onvif Protocol KeyBoard For IP PTZ Camera Compatible with Hikvision/Dahua/TVT/Uniview/XM/Jovision Brand etc. . The controller works by the ONVIF protocol over IP. I could not get it to work until I enabled ONVIF in the web config. The controller above now works great.Youtube livestream: this was actually the easiest part to get working. Just type in the RTSP address and key for Youtube live, and it streams.Issues:1) Audio is only supported by line in. There is no built-in microphone. This is fine for typical use, but I would have liked one for testing purposes.2) RTSP stream to Youtube cuts out occasionally after 20-30 minutes. I don't know why this is, but I will start investigating and update if I find a solution.3) Settings change only apply with camera reset. Read above, not hard to work around. This camera is a great deal and does a lot for the price. I wish I had documentation on how to use it, and I with the RTSP feed was more stable. I will keep working on it to see if I can update the review at all.

PHENOMENAL PRODUCT FOR CHURCH ON TIGHT BUDGET
This PTZ camera does everything that the name brand PTZ cameras do. We are very happy with it.2 hurdles:Setup was not easy. The instructions at smtav.com are vague. I had a little trouble getting connected to camera via ethernet to set up. The camera's IP address is printed on the bottom. Mine was 192.168.100.88. What I didn't know was I had to set the IP address of my computer to 192.168.100.8, so that the computer and the camera were on the same network segment. I contacted the seller and they promptly replied with the solution.Second hurdle is my SDI output does not work. I am using a Blackmagic Design ATEM Television Studio, and I know they are picky about frame rates. However, I am getting a picture with the HDMI output. I'm still working on a solution.Overall, I am very pleased with this camera, and am happy I purchased it.

This worked great!
We've been using a Blackmagic ATEM TV studio with a couple of consumer video cameras to stream our church services through a computer to Facebook with OBS. It worked well, but we wanted a better camera and an easier method to stream to FB. We bought this camera and a controller - Network Keyboard LEFTEK,IP Keyboard 4D IP PTZ Controller with LCD Monitor Display Onvif Protocol Keyboard for IP PTZ Camera - and are very pleased. The only complaint is that there are no instructions for setting up the camera. However, it wasn't difficult. You have to log into the camera with a web browser (the IP address is on the bottom of the camera) to change it's settings. The only real settings that we could change (for our application) was the IP address and to turn on the Onvif for the controller to work. We now send the ATEM output through an Epiphan Webcaster X2. The camera video is very clear and sharp and half the price of other similar cameras. Got it within a few days and it works perfectly. Time will tell how it's longevity works out, but our initial impression is excellent.

Great Camera
We bought this camera and a 20x zoom camera and found that both cameras had very good picture quality, and very smooth motion and zoom. The cameras have slightly different web interfaces, but all of the functions that I have tried have worked well, including streaming to the web gui, and directly to a VLC client. The VISCA controls work great and we have had good results using the web gui and presets to control the camera as well as an external VISCA-based joystick. We had some confusion on setting VISCA address in the web GUI, and when we reached out to customer support we got a thorough response that helped resolve the issue by setting the address with the IR remote. All told, we are very pleased with our purchase.

I took a chance and won big.
I was looking at a PTZ Optics camera and found this one. I was a little weary about buying from an unknown company. I took a chance since and won big by purchasing this camera.I stream High School football games and it has worked great. Great Price and Great Product. I will probably buy another soon.

Good build quality, sharp output video quality, and easy to setup.
I have been using SMTAV PTZ Camera Brand for my clients since 2019. My clients LOVE the HD output video for their livestream and in-house recording. Video and build quality is good, and easy to setup.Price is right but $50 shipping from China is too much, so will always look for US seller.

Great camera but faulty power supply.
For the price, this camera is a no brainer. It performs very similar to a PTZ Optics camera and while the setup is a little difficult, the frustration is worth it. I had only good things to say about the camera, until the power supply suddenly stopped working 2 days after I unboxed the camera. The camera still works, but now I am left trying to finding a power supply replacement.
