Very handy product perfect for around the home or office especially if you having anything built in and need access to plug sockets.

Slightly random use, I needed a plug port for a vivarium I was building for a snake enclosure and these are a fraction of the price you pay for the purpose made alternatives.It works well and seems very solidly built. I have three gripes. The first is that it takes a 60mm hole saw to install. These are easily sourced online but they are not a standard size you will find in most kits or on your local hardware store shelf.The 60mm hole will not hold it perfectly tight and it freely rotated and I suspect would easily pull out of mine. I secured mine with silicone and that’s worked fine.The third will be totally irrelevant unless you are using it for a vivarium or similar and that is that the brush the cables go through is not secure enough to prevent critters escaping. I fixed that by installing a heat lamp guard underneath it so it’s fine but if you are considering this then it’s something to consider.

As previous reviewers have stated they are loose fitting when using a 60mm hole cutter. Had to use tape on the grommet to ensure it is secure. Was expecting them to be flimsy for the price but they are very solid.

..only criticism is there are some sharp edges! Might need to have a go at it with a file.

Cons. They don't fit snug and I had to use adhesive to secure them. The internal disc is fiddly to lock in position. Pros. They look attractive. The brushed aperture holds the cable in place and limits draughts. Overall I would buy again.
