Update International 64 Oz Plastic Decanter for Regular Coffee

First the badThe plastic lid that goes on top to keep coffee hotter fits so loose that it falls in my cup while pouring every time. See pic 4 while simulating pouring minus the splash and digging it out of my coffee.Sometimes I remember to remove it before pouring but I am not at my best in the first 30 minutes of the day!It has a small nipple that is supposed to make the lid fit tight, but still be removable- the nipple just isn't big enough. See pic 3.I notice a slight difference in taste with the plastic compared to my glass decanter, or at least, I think I do.I have only owned this a month so can't comment on longevityPic 2 is staining after a month use. I haven't used anything stronger than soap and water on it so far though.The good - I like the stainless bottom to help keep from scorching the coffeeIt shouldn't ever shatterThe grip is fine to meI am returning and ordering the original for a better fitting lid and glass.

Works great for what it is...a cheap replacement for a Bunn coffee pot. You don't have to worry about this breaking as easily, and it is pretty resilient. I have left the coffee on overnight by accident on a number of occasions, and though there is burnt coffee smell everywhere, this pot did not crack or break ​but kept going.After some long use, the plastic began to separate from the metal, but that was not a big deal, as this is very affordable and you can get another one very reasonably. I am happy with the length of time it did last.

It leaks

Not a fan of the stain build up. Despite the daily cleaning of these. Have two, use daily for several pots of coffee throughout the day. But they hold together. Just had to take off the cap in the neck.

Good quality, fair price

It would be a good container except for the amount of room between the handle and the container is small. My hand was touching the container while gripping the handle. Not good if the container is hot. Other than that, good price.

Item arrived very promptly and was exactly as described.
