This product has been around a long time ! There is a good reason. It is great !! Put it on at night , it is not greasy and it really helps.

SO glad this lotion is back, however price seems a little high considering the size of the container. I used this when I was a teen for horrible chapped hands. Works great. And the fragance - LOVE IT!!

Pacquin’s is the best. I wish they would begin selling the Anti-Detergent line again. It was the best of all the lines for me

I have first hand knowledge of the original Pacquins because I am 86 years old and because it was the only hand cream that healed the dry, red and cracked skin on my much younger hands. People even complimented me on the softness and scent of my hands. The scent of this new Pacquins is really NOT pleasant at all; it almost has a chemical odor. The texture is not as creamy as the original. However, it does a decent job of softening my really dry skin when I apply it faithfully. It is quite expensive, but it would have been well worth it had it come closer to the qualities of the original! I am truly disappointed and don’t understand how some reviewers said it reminded them of their mothers and grandmothers. It certainly doesn’t remind me of the beautiful scent and the lovely texture of the original Pacquins (that was absorbed so quickly), but it does soften my hands.

I only write negative reviews if I think they can be helpful to someone. I am 61 years old and remember this hand cream from when I was younger. The smell was unmistakable. If you know, you know. Anyone hoping that this is the original scent will be completely disappointed. The other reviews that say it is just like they remember, are not referring to the smell. Not only does it NOT smell like the original, it smells absolutely HORRIBLE. The closest I can describe it would be Ponds cold cream, but with a chemical smell. I would even guess it is Ponds cream with a different formula. In all fairness, I cannot comment on the effectiveness of the product, since I returned it and did not use it. This review is only to help others like myself who were wishing and hoping that they found a piece of the past. Don't waste your time or your money.

I had forgotten about this hand cream. My Mom swore by it! One day I was on the sofa and I got a very strong scent of Pacquin’s hand cream - out of nowhere! I knew it was my Mom saying hello. I immediately found it on Amazon and ordered it. I have eternally dry, painful skin, especially my hands and feet. This came and the scent, ever so light, was like my Mom giving me a hug! I used it once and it’s moisturizing and healing was evident - immediately. I carry it around w me now! A beautiful memory that goes with a helluva great product! Thank you so very much! Am going to stock up! ✌🏻

This product is not as good as the original. The original was soft and nongreasy. It would heal my hands overnight. It was absorbed into my skin quickly and no greasy feel. The new product is thick; almost waxy, in feel. Does not absorb and heal like the original. Disappointed in it. I will not order again. Especially at &12.99 for 4 ounces. The original sold for around $6 for 8 ounces. I was very disappointed in the product and the skimpy amount. If they would make the original formula and sell a larger amount than 4 ounces I would buy in a heartbeat. Does anyone know of a product closer to original pacquins? My hands are so sore.
