Everything you need for a successful installation is included!
I can't say any more than simply, I love it! Easily adjustable, rotate your tablet to any position. The little tools to tighten up any loose joints is easy to use. AND the fact it comes with two mounting brackets - I LOVE THAT. I'm still trying to decide where I may want to permanently place that second bracket - one is in the kitchen, for recipes and shopping lists. The second one - I'm really contemplating putting it outside, on the wall next to the hot tub...It is very easy to slide the tablet holder out of one mounting bracket to tuck it into the other bracket mounted elsewhere. The fact that this can hold my large and small tablets and kindles is just the best thing EVER! And love that it is removable and can used as a table top stand without the mounting bracket, (that's how I decided on which side of the stove I wanted the mounting bracket placed under which cabinet - I kept it on one side of the stove on the counter top for a few weeks, then on the other side for a couple more weeks.) It has long screws if you need them, and a few different thicknesses of spacers in case your cabinets have a lip around the rim underneath them - mine don't, but it is nice to know they thought of that. Everything you need to mount the brackets is included - even the wall anchors! Okay, not everything, you will need a screw driver, and maybe a drill, (or nail and hammer), to make starter holes for the screws, plus a pencil to mark when the holes go. Oh, a piece of tape to hold the bracket to the bottom of the cabinet while screw in the first screw is helpful, too. Other than those items - everything you need is included! :) UPDATE: Nearly 3 years later: I don't know what I would do without this stand! My hands have always been painful and a bother. I bought this as a gadget to keep my tablet off the limited counter space in my kitchen while cooking. Little did I realize how much this stand would help with my hand pain. My tablet stays permanently attached to this stand. (I even travel with the stand attached to the tablet!) I can sit it in my lap, I can lay in bed with it, I can twist, turn and move it to position my tablet at the perfect angle. I can squish it down quickly, (fold it down), so it sits on my dresser, on top or under the coffee table, under or on the end table while charging. I can rotate the table for a horizontal view, or a vertical view - depending on the app using, or the video I'm watching. When the tablet on the stand starts drooping, (the tablet won't stay in the position I put it), I get out the tool, take it to my husband and he tightens it up here and there. No so tight, just enough so that I can still position the tablet with painless ease at any angle I want, but tight enough to hold it once I position it. It is so easy I could do that myself if my hands would function better. I highly recommend this to anyone with hands that may hurt after holding your tablet. Or hands that just sort of drop your tablet without your permission...(LOL) It's like a lap stand...I swear, I use it on my lap to hold up the tablet. Heck, even in bed it's either sitting on me, or to the side of me on the mattress. While walking around I can get a secure grip on the stand easily, unlike holding a tablet in my hands, which keeps me from accidentally dropping it. Wonderful stand! I wish my phone had a stand just like this one, but smaller...

Great Product for multi-use in house with several different devices! Minor Installation. Very good value & quality construction!
It truly is a 2 in 1 product and am very pleased with it's design, purpose and packaging! Easy to install too! I bought it to mount on the wall in front of my treadmill so that I could place my tablet at eye level and see a movie or videos while walking and not having the angle and/or vibration of the treadmill affect my viewing. I really liked the additional option of being able to mount it under a cabinet as well so then I can just take the stand part with me with the ipad still attached and insert it under the cabinet with the second holder and bring up a recipe to cook! In the box, the arm comes fully assembles along with two (2) separate white hard plastic mount pads for inserting the bifurcated "foot/arm" when one wants to use it either on the wall (vertically) or under a cabinet (horizontally) as pictured. Along with the mounts came a set of screws and plastic wall anchors (2 sets, 1 for each mounting pad) which I used for my painted plastered wall as well as set of three (3) hex keys of different sizes for adjusting arm pivot tension and a swivel base containing the spring tension clip that attaches to the end of the arm and is used to grip the tablet at two (2) points. [Note: the largest tablet (by size and weight) the padded spring clip will accommodate, albeit tight, is a thin-sleeved iPad4 (which I use) but it is fully adjustable for smaller pads/tablets ( I have also have and tested an e-reader similar to the Amazon Fire and a an obsolete HP Touchpad (heavy)] The only tools I used were an electric drill, a drill bit and medium phillips-head screwdriver for installation to the wall. Instructions were included but I didn't use it however I did notice the instructions included didn't give what size drill bit to use but that was easy to figure out. The mounting pads use two screws each that are situated at the top and bottom of the pad along it's length (vertically) and when screwed into the wall, the screws are flush with the mounting pad so that the "foot/arm" will not rub or be hindered by the screw heads. The installation was very simple and when used as a stand , the bifurcated foot splits apart to act as a foot and the arm s completely adjustable to any height or angle as well as having a 360 degree rotating mount for the tablet so you can view your tablet vertically or horizontally. Fully folded against the wall, the (immovable) rotating mount (highest/ thickest point) is about 3 1/2 inches away from the wall but remember, the arm is removable and then only the white mounting pad would be left on the wall. With minor installation and full adjustability, this is a well-designed product that is well-packaged and reasonably priced for it's multiple purposes. Suggestion: maybe the company could sell additional mounting pads separately for other places in the home (garage/laundry room) or even for work ( if allowed to install on a wall). [Note: after extended use (3 months) I noticed that with my iPad, because of its weight, I do have to use the hex keys occasionally to tighten the middle position in the arm, but it isn't a bother for me]

Excellent stand up holder!
I love that I can finally have my tablet available in the Kitchen. This is easy open and ready to use right out of the package.. It is sturdy and weighted appropriately for tipping prevention. The reason for the missing star? I was really looking forward to the under-cabinet feature. Unfortunately, not many kitchen cabinets are flush on the bottom, so if I were to install the pocket piece under the cabinet, there is no room to slide the holder into the pocket? I have not tried a sideways install. Sideways install worked! This has a Pixar lamp feel. :)

Immediately Impressed!
I just got this in, so I will admit I may be jumping the gun, but I'm not usually compelled to review something so quickly. I have been trying to find a versatile iPad stand, mostly for watching shows/movies in bed, etc. The gooseneck stands I had seen that clip on just didn't look long enough to get from a bed rail up to viewing height, and also usually I have the ipad between my wife and I which wouldn't work well mounted to the side of the bed. There are "bean bag" type stands that will prop up an ipad, but at a low level - not good on the neck. This item looks to fill this role pretty well. It lifts the iPad up about 10" or so from the surface it's on... which is good enough for bed. In addition, the ability to hang it under a cabinet while cooking, off a wall near my workbench, desk, or heck, even in the bathroom! Super versatile! It's extremely well made, feels very solid, and the movement mechanisms are quite maneuverable yet feel very precise. There is no droop when you let it go, etc. The mounting system is genius's... simple and very effective. I plan to buy extra mounts in my next order! Great stuff!

How hard it is to make a good thing perfect?
Updates: Customer service contacted me within 1 hour after I post my review, which was 2-star, and told me there were missing parts (spacer) in my package. I contacted directly to the company's customer service, and finally got a pack of spacers for free at 8 Feb. Now I am fully satisfied, thanks! First off I did not use it as its main purpose: not in the kitchen, not under cabinet. I used it on the wall in our family room in front of my elliptical machine so I can watch my favorite video while exercising, but, not difference, right? I was pleased by the product once I pulled it out of the box, the mount is make of aluminum or similar metal, the joint is stiff enough to hold my ipad 2. The finish is not perfect but surely worth the price. The problem happened when I installed the wall mounting bases. The foot of the stand is not straight, but with a curve, and therefore when you slide the foot into the mounting-base, the motion is not vertically up-and-down. Think this as you put your foot into a shoe, which your foot will "curve-in", instead of wearing a flip-flop in which you do not need to bent your foot. When I securely fasten the mounting-base on my flat wall, which is very easy, I just found I can not slid in the stand. Why? Think the foot-and-shoe again. If the lace of the shoe is tight, there is no way you can slip you foot in, your heel will stuck on the quarter (the hard part of the shoe which support your heel) of the shoe, and you have to push hard and even crush the quarter to put your foot in. Same problem here. If I want to slip the stand all the way down to the perfect position in the mounting-base, I have to push very hard until the foot and the mounting-base change shape slightly, which, in my understanding, should not be what it is supposed to work. What made this worse, as I need to touch the heel of the stand with the wall very hard, the metal material of the stand makes mark on Latex wall very easily, as easy and as obvious as write on the white board with a marker. I finally put a half-centimeter padding under the upper screw hole to lift and tilt the mounting-base so that I can easily put the stand in without touching the wall. I noticed many 5-star reviews mentioned that "I did not use the wall mounting because I have not use of it". I agree that the stand itself is good and very handy. I also agree the idea to create the 2 in 1 stand is unique. But I just very frustrated and disappointing that why do not spend a little effort to make such a good thing perfect?

Works, but be careful with the plastic parts.
I love this product. It works great, I get lots of lookers when I use it in my shared workspace. I have a surface pro 4 and use it to elevate the display to a more ergonomic position. I wish it were a few inches taller, and that I could get it to mount behind me on a wall and hold the monitor Infront of me ... That said, for working on a desk top, or mounting it as displayed in the pictures it is amazing. I did need to tighten the joints, but it comes with the tools to do that. Also pro tip, the black caps come off, all joints are adjustable. My surface pro is a heavy screen, it is very sturdy to hold it up so well. Update: I purchased this in August of 2016. It is now June 2017. I am still using this stand for both my phone and surface pro. It still works great. I still occasionally need to tighten the bolts so it will hold its position, but I am very happy with that. I keep the tools handy. It's is a daily used item. I am moving, and rotating, it every morning and evening minimum. Tightening a bolt now and then seems reasonable. It has held up well. 2018 and nothing has changed. Still a daily user. Update: The very same night I posted my most recent update the worst happened. The plastic part broke. June 2019 I should add that I still use it for my phone. I just glued a magnetic car mount to the place where the plastic broke and still use it daily. I cannot use it for my surface pro anymore without the broken plastic.

Sturdy and effective
I primarily use this under a cabinet but I like the ability to have two mounting brackets and also have it free standing. I haven't had any of the problems described in the negative reviews. It's sturdy, easily adjustable and stays the way I position it. I'm using it on a 9 inch iPad in a slim case and it holds the tablet very securely. The under cabinet mounting does require a spacer so that the bracket is clear of the cabinet lip but these spacers are included in the package. I used a simple block of wood for a spacer rather than the included plastic spacers so that I could screw down into the wood from the cabinet base and then screwed up into the wood block from the bracket. Most cabinet bases are not thick enough to allow you to screw the bracket directly into them. The tablet holder easily separates from the rest of the stand but is secure when attached. This allows me to more easily attach the tablet and also makes the stand less noticeable when not in use. The whole stand is very well designed.
