Time Out Camping Trailers (Pull Behind Motorcycle or Small Car) (Deluxe Camper)

I tow our Timeout with an 09 Goldwing MC.NEGATIVES: MPG/s drop slightly when towing through mountains. It takes us about 6-7 minutes to set up. The last negative is that there are no breaks in the camper. Since I am towing with a MC, it takes a few more feet to stop (if using a car this might be unnoticeable). It can take some thought and creativity to get everything you want as far as extra's (see bottom paragraph).POSITIVES: Plenty of attachments to add on are available. If you do not have much storage space, only small spot in the shed or garage is needed. When set up, this is a large, standing room, MC camper. For two people, gear can be stored inside. I met another couple with kids. They put a hitch on their economy sized car and slept their kids inside.ADVICE: Be creative! We have a 30 amp extension cord with 4 outlets. A tarp, poles, and tents stakes serve as a kitchen area (also used in set up in rain). We have a Jackery to plug in a small fridge during travel and for electric at non-electric sites. The fridge and Jackery are to big to set inside during travel but easily go on top in the travel top. Some have chosen the ice chest attachment that attaches to the hitch. Our one attachment is the travel top for extra travel storage. Also, get some bungees and strap stuff to the poles during travel. If you want to minimize space, think of getting smaller more powerful heaters and air conditioners (electric needed). Be creative!!

Absolutely not worth 7k.There are much better and higher quality options

This is one of the best motorcycle campers on the market. I live in East Central Illinois and have pulled this trailer from Maine to Texas. It tracks great as long as you have it loaded properly. It is heavy when loaded and will have a tendency to push you when coming to a stop just by the momentum.On our trip to Maine we loaded this trailer with a lot of weight. We hauled an ac unit plus all of our camping gear and clothes. We had a tire blowout on our way home but the bike and trailer went straight down the road with no problem. I thought my bike backfired and started bogging down. I thought the ol Vic had enough but it turned out to be a right tire on the trailer. Walmart stocks the wheel and tire for this camper which made it easy and economical to fix.I've pulled this camper with 2 different Victory's with no problem. What I like best about this camper is it is fast to set up and take down and the fact everything is off the ground. This helps keep it clean and makes the whole camping experience much better.When we pull into a campground the camper gets a lot of attention and we are asked questions about it. We're like a freak show when go camping. The camper intrigues all of the other campers.I highly recommend this camper as it is well built and pretty roomy for such a small size.

Bought this exact same camper back in the early 90’s to pull behind a Honda Goldwing. Went on two week vacations with it from Massachusetts to Tennessee. We loved it. Put a car top carrier on top for all our supplies. Pulled like a dream. Used an air mattress on the bed . If we were younger I would do it all over again. I believe it was only $2500 back then but exactly the same. I think we bought it at Americade.

Bought one of these Timeout Campers at a Wing Ding convention. Pulled all over U.S. Great camper and easy to set up. Would buy again...
