A story with a moral
This is the story of bat, who hangs upside down and so see the world from a different viewpoint. His "friends" however think he's silly and call him daft bat, until Wise Owl suggests they try the view from his viewpoint and then they see the error of their ways.

Hmm.
It's a nice enough book with a good message. I like the illustrations but my daughter won't really take to the book (yet). The thing I don't like about it is the language. It's not badly written but I've seen better. And I simply don't like some of the word choices.

Perfect for an adult gift
Do you know someone who is different and inspires others. Daft bat is different than all the other animals but when the Wise Owl asks them all to take another look at bat's perspective they begin to see a whole different world. I love to give this for birthday gifts to unique people who make me a better person.

Great for Teachers
If you teach, this book is a must have when you begin a lesson on point of view! Many other teaching extensions. Love it.
