I do love so much: Bamboo look and quality. Looks beautiful. The action of opening the bread box..... It takes two hands. The horizontal slats do not ascend uniformly.. I would pass on this one if you want thus type of bread box. Im cutting my door out. Or just using it for something else. Not what i wanted or expected.

This vendor was fantastic! Answered all my questions very promptly and clearly stated the return policy. Arrived very quickly.It is beautiful (see photos attached) and is neither too small nor too large. Came fully assembled.As recommended, I applied bamboo mineral oil to the outside panels only and left it overnight to absorb in to the wood.Used it the very next day. The roll top works very nicely and it's well constructed. One word if caution. This brand (Lipper) is sold separately by other vendors for less and you can see the reviews - and photos. For a little more, you get much more for your money. Not sure why. But this is the third 5-star review for this vendor and this breadbox. If you want another design on top, go to their website. All boxes are re same price. Very good value for what you get if wood (bamboo) and roll top is the design you want. Highly recommended, you won't regret it - I didn't and I did plenty of research!

I’m really impressed with this bread box. It cost a little more than I had planned on spending, but it’s worth it. It’s sturdy, has a cute design, and I love this bamboo roll top. Mine had no trouble opening and closing, but I went ahead and waxed up the track anyway since they were kind enough to provide a candle.Footnote on the pic: We just used up a whole loaf of white bread on French toast, but I’m confident that would have fit in the box as well.

I've been searching for a breadbox for awhile now and so happy I found this one. It arrived "put together". It fits well on my countertop without appearing bulky. There is plenty of room inside. Currently, we have 1 loaf plus half a loaf of bread with plenty of room to spare. An additional perk of this purchase is the adorable engraved "breads" at the top which gives it a unique and vintage feel.

I just got it today and It's super cute but I have to return it because it's coming apart on the one side and you can see the fabric through the gaps in the wood in the front. (See first 2 pictures) Super disappointed because I really wanted it for this weekend. I think I'll try to get another one and hope that it's not messed up too.Came back to say I got the replacement 2 days later and although it is a little better, I'm returning this one too. (See last 3 pictures) One of the slats is split and splintery, I can still see the fabric through the slats and the nob on the front is so wobbly from not being screwed right enough and at the angle it is I can't get a screw driver in there to tighten it because I don't have one short enough. Yes I'm being picky, but I know it's things that will really bother me if I keep it after paying $30 for it. I found a black tin one for only $4 more, that is much cuter and won't splinter.

I have not found anything to dislike so far. This is a nice, well made, "retro" bread bin. We really needed something like this and now we have it. I rubbed the candle up and down the slides a couple of time and it works like a champ. We are very pleased with your product!

Wow, I am pleasantly surprised, the bread box is so much bigger than expected, made of high quality wood and the etching design on top is lovely. This is almost a luxury item, so well-made it is! I already put several bread products inside. Also, the lid seems to be fine so far, not 100% smooth but I don't think it can be, not with the way it's rounded and has to accordion-slide -- just pull it by the knob carefully to open or close it. Beautiful piece, vey happy with it! Almost too big for my tiny kitchen counter, but you can store quite a few items on top of it too, to reclaim counter space.. Very happy with it!

My husband is enamored with our new bread box! Every day he tells me how much he likes it. The rolltop door opens and closes very smoothly. The whole boxe is put together very well and is very beautiful to look at. It would make a beautiful gift for a friend who bakes bread.

Not bad.. I expected a bit better quality .. does the job though
