DogLife 'Dog Life Pet Toy Flying Ring Vynum Assorted Colours

You get what you pay for
After purchasing some of these to replace a worn out (chewed) Aerobie (similar toΒ Aerobie 10'' Sprint Ring - Assorted Colours ), this product appears to be sturdier and more durable, and are thrown in a similar fashion to a Aerobie/Frisbee, but to call this product a 'Flyer' would be as accurate as calling a tennis ball a 'Flyer', as they do not fly much further than you could throw anything of a similar weight. As I have a 1 yr old Border Collie who is very hard to wear out, I was hoping for a product that could be thrown much further. However, considering the price and sturdiness of these compared to other 'Flyer' products, these were clearly not going to be made to the flying/gliding standards of more recreational Aerobie/Frisbee products.Overall:These are good for the price (so cheap to replace), and arrived promptly, but if you're looking for a Aerobie/Frisbee type product that can be thrown and glide over greater distances, this may not be what you're after.

So much fun
This is great! My dog loves it. It sinks so he loves diving for it, if left alone with it he can chew bits of it but when playing with him he does not chew it. It even beets the tennis ball!!

best doggy frisbee ever
Have bought five of these over time. My fiance lost two of them on a wild throw but I have always come back to replace them as they really are a great dog frisbee. They fly really well and are easy for the dog to pick up and carry thanks to the ring shape as opposed to the disc types. Also the fact that they are made of silicone means that they dont get destroyed like the hard plastic ones do. The silicone is quite tough and my dog hasn't managed to destroy one yet although I have to mention we don't let him just chew it, it is used as a frisbee and not a chew toy. I don't think it would hold up well under constant prolonged chewing.

I bought this for my German Shepherd. She likes it but it is not as good to throw and glide as the well chewed one we found the week before when walking in a field. It looks the same and is the same size but doesn't go nearly so far for some reason.

These are great! We use them to exercise our lab and collie out in the fields - downsides - the dogs aren't allowed to play with them at home since they destroyed one very quickly, they don't float!!! - the dogs' teeth make them lose some of their airworthiness fairly rapidly - BUT they work fine for fun exercise for several months. (We bought 4 at once after losing the single one we bought first when it sank in the river without trace!) After all the fun our dogs have had with them I heartily recommend them - worth buying two or three at once, still great value in terms of exercise and fun.

Didn't Last Long
I bought two of these for my 8 month old lab-collie cross. They were pretty flimsy and were chewed to pieces in a couple of days.I imagine they'd be great for a smaller dogs.

Good toy for my dog.
Other buyers have complained that their dogs chew and ruin the rings, that is what dogs do. Dogs are descended from wolves who have to chase animals for food, so it is a natural instinct for dogs to chase moving objects ( broom heads, lawn mowers, balls etc). My dog loves chasing the rings and has been trained to bring them back, sometimes a little nibbled but she is a dog after all. They are much safer than throwing sticks. The quality is good but no toy lasts forever.
