Good quality, taste and texture
We have ordered this product several times and are pleased with the quality of the product and the shipping. We have even ordered this product as gifts for family members. No one has had any negative comments about the quality, taste, appearance, etc. I will concede that this product does not taste the same as fresh caught, wild ocean shrimp, but it is good..We prefer to quick steam the shrimp with the shells on, or quick boil with spices (California garlic powder, few twists of fresh ground pepper, a few pinches of crushed dill, few drops of Tabasco and 2 or 3 large spoons of real salted butter), again with the shells on. From experience, if you steam or boil this shrimp too long, you lose much of the flavor and you ruin the texture. If you remove the shells beforehand, you also lose much of the flavor..(Central Florida) We always order the shrimp on Saturday evenings, it is usually shipped out on Monday and we always receive it on Wednesday; always inside insulated Styrofoam boxes with loads of dry ice. It is always FROZEN. We enjoy this product and will continue to purchase this product through Amazon..Worth mentioning, they sometimes have this same exact shrimp in 2 pound bags, and if the price is good, we ordered that size also..Take note: if you have the money and freezer space, they now (October 2017) offer a WILD CAUGHT OCEAN SHRIMP, 16/25 to a pound, in 16 ounce bags, a box of 12 bags, shipped in Styrofoam boxes with loads of dry ice.

Great product at a great price with convenient delivery and storage
Larger shrimp than the Sea Best 26/30 EZ Peel Shrimp, 16 Ounce that I previously reviewed, but the same great attributes.The Sea Best Shrimp arrived frozen rock hard in a mini styrofoam cooler with dry ice. We were amazed when we cooked them a week later, not only with their fresh caught flavor and texture, but how easy they were to prepare. I agree with many seafood experts that cooking shrimp in the shell enhances their flavor and keeps them from getting ragged. The deterrent to that cooking method is the hassle of deveining and peeling while the shrimp are still warm. Since the Sea Best EZ Peel Shrimp already have their shells split and come deveined, post cooking prep for the table is a breeze. It's like unzipping their shell jacket and easily slipping it off.We were so pleased with this product that we plan to keep at least one pack in the freezer for a quick dinner, or should company drop by and we want to give them an unexpected, and delicious snack alternative to cheese and crackers, or chips and salsa.Another plus is the great price for such a great product and convenience of home delivery.

Perfect shrimp for any recipe
Amazon packs these perfectly in a small cooler with dry ice and the box is a perfect fit for the cooler. I usually order 2 packs and its a perfect fit. The shrimp are what I would call jumbo and they peel easily warm or cold. A really good buy!
