Wow. Are "Expensive" Cables Worth It? ...YES!!
Yes, you can absolutely tell a difference.I often believe most claims of a guitar cable are gimmicks. Well, I was wrong. This cable sounds noticeably better than a standard ($15-$30 cable). Clarity is the word I would use. It's less "I can hear a difference." and more "I can feel a difference."The dynamics of your playing come out a lot more, you can feel a sense of body in your tone that you don't realize isn't there until you use this.I can give 2 analogies....1. it's like going from a $1,500 guitar to a $3,000 guitar. You expect a guitar over $1,000 to sound good of course. But when you go into the $3,000 range it's a different game.2. it's like going from a standard computer keyboard to a mechanical keyboard. clickyness notwithstanding :)In the title I say "expensive" because "expensive" is relative to quality. I was wrong, with guitar cables at this level, you really do get what you pay for. So it's unfair to really call it expensive, you're getting a good cable at a higher price, but lower priced cables just don't sound like this. It's like listing cost as a con when comparing a $200 PC to a $2,000 PC, yes.... it's more expensive but it's made from higher quality components and you'll have a computer that works better for far longer.Seller was great as well. Arrived fast and in great condition. I only returned the cable because I bought it to solve a problem I misdiagnosed. My wife says I can buy one for myself for Christmas (which I plan to do).

Superior Quality
Tried this cable with my 100 watt Marshall amplifier and Gibson Les Paul and immediately noticed how the quality in sound was like studio quality. Whenever I use other brands they don’t even compare to this.

Expensive but High Quality
I have quite a few Mogami cables in various lengths. So far, they have withstood considerable trampling by my bandmates with no failures. Can’t say that about lesser quality cables. Whether or not they are worth the money is subjective based on your situation. If you are in a gigging band, then they probably are. If you’re a “bedroom” player, then perhaps not. Either way though, the lifetime warranty is a good thing to have.

Hard to Beat Mogami Cables
Mogami just sets the standard for audio cables. These guitar cables are so very quiet. It’s really amazing changing out another guitar cable for a Mogami cable and suddenly the noise from the amp is gone. I have purchased many less expensive cables, but never again. Once you hear the quiet, you just can’t go back.

a top notch cable, period.
i bought this cable in an emergency situation - one where I was on the road, needed a great cable, and didn't have access to roll my own using, what would've been, essentially the same parts. I exclusively use canare and mogami in the studio, and in critical places of my live setup. The cable itself is top shelf, quiet, and will provide years of use if you treat it even with modest respect. As an instrument cable, this could possibly be a little short if you move around a bunch, making it worth it to go for the 18' cable as a bass or guitar player if you don't like being tied down. I used this as part of a keyboard rig, where it was perfect on all levels - quality reproduction of sound across the entire spectrum (the highs were crystal, the bass clear), connection is solid (I am not a gold fanatic, but these are excellent), great warranty, and a reputation that holds value. (These are real deal pro cables, as opposed to some cables priced similarly that have a monster price, but not necessarily a superior build or sound, which is why I didn't walk into guitar center and buy a pair of monster 1000's and waited for these to be delivered overnight instead,,,)

You will have to hear it to believe it
Got the new cable, warmed up my Marshall, played for 15 min with my old cable.Kept all the settings the same.Went on stand-by.swapped out the cable.Played for 30 min... blown away by the quality of the high sounds and the low noise, and clarity of the sound. In spite the cost of this cable, I was so impressed by it I bought a 2nd one to keep in the case for when I’m visiting friends.Don't forget, lifetime guarantee

There is *no* lifetime warranty like you get with a Mogami cable
This is *not* a Mogami cable. This company is misleading you about what they are selling. This is a cable built by a different company and is not warrantied by Mogami. The wire itself is Mogami but another company assembles it with their own ends. This should be made very clear in the description. However, it still deserves a decent review for the following reasons:1) It's a very nice cable. I can certainly hear the difference between this and a cheap cable2) Although it stopped working after a year I did a return on Amazon and the company refunded my money no questions asked.3) The cable is very solidly built. Although mine did fail, it certainly appears that others might last for years and years.
