I was pleased with these at first. They are sturdy enough for most foods, look a bit nicer than some, and, most important to me, supposedly Compostable. It has been a year since they went into the compost pile and they are still intact. I could wash them and use them again! The compost pile is working fine; I got lots of beautiful compost.I also got a lot of perfectly intact plastic that will have to go into the landfill. The description of this product should clearly state that these cannot be composted in the usual way. Very disappointing purchase.

Bought these for school lunches & eating on-the-go. Wanted to reduce plastic waste. I LOVE these utensils! Maybe it’s dumb to love a utensil. My kids are sick of hearing me say I love spoons and forks. 😂 But really, if you’re going to use disposables, why not these?! They’re actually very cute/pretty. I like the design! Sturdy, strong, smooth & easy to clean. I try to save them to reuse when it’s not inconvenient. We run them through the dishwasher and they hold up for many uses. I save money over just tossing them every time, but I don’t have to worry about losing them. The price was better than most compostable utensils, without the pack being ridiculously large. Will definitely buy again once I run out... please keep carrying these!!!

Maybe it was just the box that I got, but these forks were not wrapped in plastic like the pictures. That wouldn't have been a problem, but I also noticed small pieces of paper and what looks like dust on the clear plastic inside the box. They're also made in china, which made seeing the strange debris in the box more unsettling. It's unfortunate because this looked like a good product, but I won't be using them.

These are the best ones I've tried so far ! Can wash and reuse or toss if they are too much of a hassle. Don't snap off like so many others. Can't rave enough! Now, if only they'd make them in black!

One of our 2019 resolutions was to move away from plastics. In general, we’re trying to be more mindful about both our consumption and our disposal habits. Earth’s Natural compostable flatware is helping us achieve those goals. The utensils are surprisingly sturdy – more so than plastic ware - and work well in hot and cold food temps. Ironically, even though we ordered this set more than a month ago, we haven’t composted any of them, yet. They are solid enough to stand up to repeated use and several dishwasher washings.Compostable flatware is 4X the price of plastic (.08¢ vs .02¢ per piece.) The quality and strength of this brand makes saving the Earth a good buy.

I hope they were able to find these useful and I'm glad to know these exist for my own personal future use.

If you have found these spoons, then you are interested in doing what you can to recycle and all of that...and at the same time you need plastic spoons at the office because you don't have a dishwasher to wash all the dishes! Oh, if only we did have one! Alas! But we found these! I am trying them out for the first time and just taking them out of the box today. Since we only need these for daily use (one or two times for making coffee, eating breakfast, lunch, etc.), it just made sense to me. As I buy the products for the office, I'll have to see what my co-workers and boss say about these compostable spoons. We're only using them as you would use a "normal" plastic spoon. We're not digging a grave or stirring cement, so they will work just fine, as far as I am concerned! I only listed it as 4 of 5 stars for the value for the money because they are more expensive than plastic spoons. But this gets 12 out of 10 stars for being good for the earth and reducing plastic trash pile-up, so that's worth it to me! :)

These are so great! I feel terrible about using disposable plastic spoons, but find it necessary for prepping dogs' food daily. I needed to find an alternative.Guys! Not only are these compostable AND actually look cool, but they are DISHWASHER SAFE! I am not kidding you when I say that I have run several of them through my super-hot dishwasher AT LEAST 6 times. And there is NO sign of breakdown. BEST VALUE EVER! I will continue to use these until they start to show signs of degradation, and then they will go in the trash, where I know they will be eco-friendly! OMG my little green heart is at ease!

The media could not be loaded.  Works well as a plastic fork but it is NOT COMPOSTABLE. Six weeks buried in the ground and it has not even softened up. If you are going to buy disposables, why pay more for something that will end up in landfill or block up composting sites?
