Junk. I started on the A3 and when every cut left blade mark damage I switched to the A4 and it's no different. Neither mat shows any self healing properties at all My attached pictures show how chewed up the mats are on my first day of using them for about an hour cutting paper for a miniature dollhouse kit. Paper requires little force to cut and I always start with a fresh #11 blade and know they need frequent changing when cutting paper. My old mat that I used for almost a year is already in better condition than this junk. The picture of the green mat is my old mat that is a real self healing mat. The old mat is noticeably thicker and has scars after 1 year of daily use but it has no deep grooved gashes like these garbage black mats that are unquestionably not self healing in any way have on the first day of use. Totally wasted my money by buying the cheapest deal instead of spending a few dollars more to get a quality product. I had to tear open the packaging Amazon sent this in so I have no box or energy to return this waste of money. I'll use them for the month or so it should take to chew them up to the point they will damage my paper with further use then throw them in the garbage where they belong. I'll have to budget to buy a new mat next month. A real self healing mat will probably cost me between 25 to 35 dollars for one A3 mat but it should last me a year or longer like my green A4 mat did. I should not have let myself be drawn in by the thought of getting 2 mats for under 20 dollars. I should have known better than to trust these would be legitimate self healing mats. No self healing properties. Shout out to Amazon for using rip apart oversized cardboard packaging that is not reusable for a return. Thanks for nothing. The picture of the black mat with the most damage is the A4. The other black mat picture is the A3 which I used for maybe 15 minutes. The green mat picture is my year old heavily used A4 mat that is a real self healing mat. I do not recommend this product.

Two very practical sizes. I use the smaller one as a mouse pad on my otherwise bear desk the larger one is more practical for knife work.
