Ottomanson Royal Collection Area Rug, 7'10"X9'10", Seafoam Oriental Medallion

My Mother was so very proud to receive this Christmas gift. It was the last gift, a most treasured gift that I was blessed to give her before her untimely death in two short months. The colors have stayed clear and bright, now four and one/half years later. She loved receiving this carpet. She loved showing it off. She was happy telling everyone that it came from Amazon. It has really held up. I came back here to lare 2017 in my orders to find it bc, now I need a rug this size in my new rental home. I hope to have as good as luck with mine as I did with hers!

I love this rug...the colors are beautiful..and though thin, it is soft and well made. The problem is that it is packaged in a tight accordion fold and the rug is not heavy enough to settle on it's own weight. I have a huge heavy leather rug that I put on top of it to attempt to weigh it down and smooth out the very obvious folds. After 2 weeks they were still there. I rolled the rug against the folds as instructed by various how to videos..but that did not work. I finally just put the rug down in the intended bedroom and little by little the folds are becoming less conspicuous. Most of the rug is under the bed with just a few feet of it visible around the edges, so it works fine for me. I am guessing that if you had it in the middle of the living room it would be a bigger problem. It is sad that they ruin a very nice product by such a destructive shipping method.just to note..color in photos is true..more of a silver blue than a true sage..so if you are looking for a green you might not be satisfied.

This is a gorgeous carpet! It does have sage color in it, but the center is a beautiful, subtle robin egg blue. We just bought a hud home that needs a few things fixed, so I couldn't afford to spend a lot on décor. I wanted a durable and pretty carpet that would be lovely to look at from the second floor open cat walk and balcony, but didn't overpower the living room below with bold colors or designs. This carpet was perfect. I have never owned an oriental rug before, so I have nothing to compare it to, but the edges don't flip up and it vacuumed like a dream. I was very reluctant to buy this carpet because when I priced other oriental carpets, the cheapest ran at least $250.00 to $300.00. We put it to a family vote and this one came in first. Boy am I glad that it did! I just wish they also had an oval one to match for my dinning room.

I've had this rug for almost 2 years and it has held up very well! I love the color and design. I had it in my living room for a long time and now is in my bedroom under my bed. They only thing I wished was that it had been rolled properly to ship. It was"rolled" around itself, and has never laid completely flat where the roll began, it still has ridges from the fold. If it had been rolled around a cardboard or something, it may have helped greatly.

This rug is perfect and exactly what we were looking for. I would describe the color as more a rich robin egg blue (nice rich blue color - which is what we were hoping for) not a sage. Current picture (01-2015) - same tonal range (dark to light) but picture is too green. Not too expensive, though not a super thick rug (like we were expecting) - we put a rug pad underneath to stop from sliding on hardwood and adds a bit more cushion. Seems well woven, hope it holds up well.Our rug arrived rolled in a thick plastic bag, not folded the way some have described. Some creases when first unrolled and smelled just a bit chemically, but a few days in and a few vacuumings and it is mostly flattened out and doesn't smell a bit. Happy with it and it classes up our living room nicely.

Better than expected! I've bought 2 of these rugs, now. Thicker and plusher than expected. Lovely colours. A bit more subdued than the photos, but no less pretty, and matches my room even nicer. Of course, lighting makes a difference in colour. Looks more like a $200 rug than a $40 one. Easy to clean, too. The cat barfed on it and good old peroxide and paper towels took care of it quick. Beautiful rug and a great value! After reviews on the color, I took a chance and I am very happy with this purchase! It is the perfect shade of Robin's Egg Blue even though it is called Sage Green. This rug would pair well with muted turquoise, cream and black, tan and brown,too. If you like Robin's Egg Blue or want a punch of this accent color, this just might be the perfect area rug! I ordered the larger size and it was rolled nicely, and delivered on time through Amazon Prime.

Hello - since I have been shopping at amazon this year REVIEWS are 99% of my shopping facter - so I feel if other people are able to do it for me to take the time out to do this , then so can I. The carpet is of very good quality - nice and tight - the colour Seafoam is a very pretty green,nice for winter and summer.The pattern is bussy around the edges this is not a carpet for bussy furniture,should be plain - the carpet is thin,needs underlay, the underlay cost me half as much as the carpet - non skid - for the price its all good - can't complain, Enjoy .

The photo on amazon doesn't really do the product justice. The rug itself is a little thin but this can be fixed with a little underpadding. Love the look of the rug and happy to have it in our home.

The thickness really disappointed me other than that great
