Good quality, oily beans, great dark roast flavor, I would buy it again, not too acidic

This is a nice dark roast coffee—if you manage to get a bag that isn't opened when you get it.I ordered a couple of bags of this coffee. I thought it was an extremely light roast the first few times I tried it—then I noticed a rip on the back of the bag. That explained the loss in flavor. I got a replacement bag and that one tasted pretty nice. I ordered another bag and recently discovered the bottom wasn't sealed and had coffee beans spill out. Two out of two bags opened is not a good look. Luckily Amazon has a reasonable replacement policy.If you happened to get an unsealed bag, expect a nice dark roast. But definitely check your bags first thing for rips or exposure to oxygen before you start drinking. Or just buy in the store so you are spared delays and headaches from getting an opened bag.

I love this coffee and it’s a good value.

I have purchased this excellent coffee at the store for almost 15 years - I have tried many whole bean coffees and this one is my favorite (I like dark roasts) - even though it is the store brand, I am serious!Its great that I can now order it to my house through the Amazon service as well.

Previously was French Roast. Now dark roast. Much more oily. It is ok, but I won't be buying anymore. I had used for espresso.

For the value, this is a great tasting coffee, especially if you get whole beans. This really helps lock in the freshness. One of my favorites!

Grocery store prices have gone way up. This is a fairly priced and flavorful dark roast.
